It's hard to believe that the cards are a factor when EVERY release of MW to date has had shortages. WK is using the old WotC marketing model and it's just something to get used to. By the marquee, boosters should be plentiful.

Hey at least you guys got starters at your venue, unless the owner is lying to me we recieved 2 starters total and they sold in minutes and i came the next day and guess what, they were out. This really ticks me off since i have been loyal for a long time and ALL I wanted were the 21st Centauri mechs cause they are my main faction. Oh well guess i have to wait for more to come in or something.

Well at my venue they got AOD in on Wednesday.

I was working Weds and Thurs and didnt have a chance to get there till today. I was planning on picking up a starter and 3 boosters, but apparently they had already sold out of boosters. The owner told me that he ordered two cases but only got one. So I just picked up a starter and thats it for now.

Likewise in the Philippines. Not a single shipment of AoD products have reached yet the distributor.

Perhaps WK really underestimated the amount of orders they'd be getting in the base set.

Like "Jason in Ohio," I live in Ohio. My local shop was also shorted on his order. I only got 1/2 case from him though (his price/case is way high @ $400). I like to support the local store, but ####!

But, I ordered a case off of Ebay for $279 that is currently in transit. I probably won't get it until Monday or Tuesday. :(

Just a local thing, but it seems that AoD is bringing renewed interest in my area. Some players who had become strangers to the game are coming back. It's unfortunate that they are finding no product on the shelves when they come back to the store.

To clarify my earlier point about the cards, I was just saying that they might be a factor... depending on how many card-production lines they're trying to run at once (pirates, MK, MW... more?). I doubt it's a huge factor, but it's one more step in the production process, and hence one more place for things to go wrong.

I can't enlighten y'all much more about the boosters... I'm out at this point and waiting for my distributor to get them in. I can take orders for them, though.

However, I do have a supply of Starters in that I'm currently letting go at $20 each (as opposed to $30 MSRP). Once cases are available again, I'll be shipping out those as well. If you're interested in a case of boosters at an insane discount, (i.e. less than $300 shipped!) PM me for details. I have at least 3 people already wanting them but I'd be glad to help out a few more people (as fast as I can get boosters, that is). Somewhere in there I really must get myself a case as well! heh.

Oh, and since the question was asked... No, I am not offering partial cases, loose boosters, or singles at this time, although that may change as time goes on. The only thing I'm sending out singly (sp?) right now are starters (although if you want a case of those, let me know and we'll work something out).
