Methinks the night before Nats begins ... as many MW players as possible (and especially us MWRealmers) should gang up and overrun a bar somewhere in Columbus and have one huge toast to wish each other good luck in a big gesture of fellowship. THEN we can rip each others throats out the following day with glee. :devious:
So if I won would they be sending it to Australia with a $10,000 postage bill or what?
Cause if thats the case then really it's just for US winners of the WORLD Championships. Not to mention the unresticted championships are only for the US players.
even those of us lucky enough to get a trip to the worlds are leaving the next day so we can't even compete in that event.
so I guess the Amercians or possible another Candian will 100% certain get that title.
Sorry if it seems a rant but when your prize support runs over 6 months late you get a little skeptical with all these gold lined promises.
an before any of you start with the What do other gaming companied prvide? etc. no other compnay i but from makes these promises plus the idea of never retiring a unit was the line that got me into to start with.
so I'd be very surprised to see Wizkids send the POD to the winners home if it's outsude the US!
Well, I could put it in the pace my bed would have been used for Iif I ever get one, because I don't believe I would ever need any more furniture EVER. Hell, if it had wheels it would be the greatest thing...
So I've got this straight: This thing is basically a big sit-down arcade game, like, say, the old "Lucky & Wild" game that used to be at my local arcade, except a)it's a recreation of an actual 'Mech cockpit, and b)IT'S HUGE!
And it's this or one year of 'Mech? Anybody who ever complains about Wizkids prize support ever again should be shot point-blank with streak missiles.
You'll need to move fast if you want one gren. This is a one time opportunity. Come November these things will be very hard to get. That's why I'm stretching my finances a little to get two.
The pod comes complete with a full version of the Firestorm software that fuels the BattleTech virtual reality experience, and, says James Garbarini, President of Virtual World, "is, hands down, the closest a person can come to climbing into the cockpit of a genuine BattleMech(tm)."
