I just wanted us to get back on track with this thread. This thread was set up to see who will be going to Nationals this year. It is also to give people a heads up on good hotels that still have rooms. Also if you are looking to share a room.

Just out of curiosity - I've heard that in the past, you were required to take the same army in the top 8 as you took in the four constructed rounds the day before. True or false, to your memory?

Yes,you must bring the same constucted army.

For the past 3 years, you are quite correct. However, that may or may not be what happens this year. We'll have to wait until about April 1 minimum for this year's nationals layout.

well now that the last set is out... people can really start playtesting their ideas. My room is set. And hopefully I'll be in time for the scrubby match. and OF course we can't forget the ares match!! whoo hooo

Is anybody pre-registering with the form from the Origins site? If you are, how do you sign up for the Ares Match?

It's not listed in the Origins pre-reg system. Looks like it will be on-site registration only?

What playtesting? The last two years, I've constructed my armies while sitting in line waiting to get into the ballroom. :)
