Well indeed...it isn't reccomendable placing corphy into melee combat unless you have no other choise (with only Corpheous and multiple LI figures or stealth figures in the Hindering you might need to base it) and basicly to get entirely back to the topic.... A good choise to defeat a corpheous-based army is to have a TOTAl LI army to disable it's support, becouse without it's support Corpheous isn't as tough as he usual is...and using a WInd Minion and Shadow's the job could be easies as it seems (COULD).....but that's just Counter-army'ing and that's not my part....a total LI army would be very usefull these day's.....
I agree with borg on this one, an LI army is almost impossible to create competitively. We've tried, there was a thread here with many ideas for LI-GA armies, and we couldn't succeed. They just seemed empty, not able to handle most of the archtypes. They just, don't, work.
yea indeed...but still 4 shadow's and a Wind minion is a clear danger to most current ranged armies, they'r e only very weak TNX to the ML/ram & venom enviroment....
Maybe, it would depend on wiether you were talking about a deathstar type army or a amry that emphasizes range but has some body guards. Also the shadows only have one click of LI. So once the take damage you're in serious trouble.
As for windy, it's a nice piece but with a 10 attack and 3 damage it's not a powerful piece. Plus it too will suffer when it looses LI.
I have to agree with borg and Tsetsuki1 on this. Maybe with the next mageknight rebellion set all LI armies will work.
Well, I'll be thinking more about LI and its role in the durrent metagame as I cruise around in the delivery van today. Mondays for me are delivery day (I'm the manager on the other days). I have to admit, the Zombie Baron/Nyx thing seems neat, but I doubt that it is viable against the majority of army types, or even the one that we're discussing. If I'm running Corpheus, I'm running at least one charge as backup, and that's really all you need to hobble any LI figure out there, ZB and Nyx included.
I have to say, though, Allenchan, that I like the way you're thinking! Lots to chew on mentally while I drive around today. OK, out onto the road for me!
