It is awesome in Dungeons! 6" range and LI! better to hit em' before they hit you! One dissapointing thing though I usally don't play in a dungeon and I pulled 2 out in my first 3 packs its sucked! :(
He's not a waste of points to me call me a newbie if you want but it can do pretty well against other low ranged units that aren't chargers people have different opions I even use him with my Shaman Og see guys go back to get healed and the Shaman OG heals sucessfully and then the Possessing Spirit shoots at up coming enimes until the Og can attack without pushing I've used it it works quite well
no dissing intended,
its just that, in a 100 point game (standard dungeons) the spirit would make up 60% of your team, and you can't even level him up, for example, if you use something like troll killer, he's starts at 35(?) pts, but his 5th level is 85 points, and even at 35, he can give the spirit a run for its money...
I think people sometimes forget that not every figure from a dungeons set is designed to work with rebellion.
Yeah, I would never play the spirit in a rebellion game but its lots of fun (or a pain) in dungeons games. With its LI, you can not take cheap shots at it from a far and with its magic confusion, it can cause a real mess. I have used it in a few games of dungeons and had fun sending my opponents figures 8 to 10 squares in the wrong direction. And if used right, you can sometimes isolate members of your opponents team and butcher them with Mage Spawn.
So my 2 cents says fun for dungeons, but there are better figures to spend the 60 points on in rebellion games.
Yeah it is awesoem and you did make a good point TheT taking up 60% but I ussually play a dungeons game with like 200 points but it also looks kinda cool it just flies in pesters enemies and moves em away with MC and is safe (for a while) swarms well it sucks then
I've got a good idea have a long range unit behind it lets say a Thunder Golem when its you turn turn LI off and at the end of your turn put it back on again
ok here are some ideas good for blocking a Thunder Golem or Strom Golem and harras figures and take them over for a turn with MC and get them out of here
