Well, first, for 20 bucks you'll need a big bag for your katana/baseball bat, then, for 40 bucks you could buy a big powered range figure, being striker, amazon, pr even techun, those 3 will rip out any newbee... most essentialy buy the bag.

and safe some money for taxi home after hitting him to death with baseball bat/katana
