Jrake - first off, let's take a deep breath and calm down. The storyline does seem to be... whack, but oh well. At least now the Orcs and NS are getting some love - even if they aren't the Orcs and NS... lol

Agro - If you think the Sect now has very many viable tourney pieces, you are wrong. The Zombie Baron, maybe ***Nighstalkers, ***Fell Reapers, and that's about it. Seething Knights, Bone Golems, and whatever else may be tourney calibre at your venue, but they aren't on a more competive scale. That's just the facts, and I for one am glad the Dark Crusaders have gotten a boost here.

Bleh, that's all I feel like digging up. Fact is, 2 months ago you would have been hard pressed to find someone like Agro floating around - pretty much anyone that cared about the sect was screaming bloody murder over the nons it got in Uprising and Minions...

Okay, thanks so much for all of you who think I started this thread to complain, but that's not why I did it!

I started this thread to discuss what would happen and/or how the sect and orcs would conquer the land. I didn't want to start a complaint. Oh Jesus, if your gonna respond, please just talk about the subject at hand. We're not here to whine. This post may seem like a complaint, but it's the only complaint I intended to post.

Okay, sorry if this seems like I'm overreacting, but it just annoy's the heck outta me when the subject of a thread takes a sudden change for the worst. But now that I've blown off some steam, I do have another point in this post.

It's clear by now that the Elemental League is finished. If and/or when the sect conquers their capital city, which of the following do you think will happen?

A: Holocaust-style executions of the League elves.
B: Enslavement
C: Corruption of the elves, trolls, centaurs etc. through
necro-spells
D: Other (specify)

As for the orcs, I'm still hazy at what their main goal is right now. Please post what their goals are, and, if they accomplish them, what will happen afterwards.

First off, about the subject change, you must always remember, on boards like these on the internet, people just seem to feel the need to complain, maybe it makes them feel important or something.

But anyway, since I do believe that with the faction renaming, there was also that new one the was the free armies or something, I think they'll come to the rescue of the elementals with the KI (considering the recent story said Atlantis left them hanging, I'm pretty sure that'll end that alliance), KI being in it because them necros are just too close to their land, and the result is the elementals will be crippled and made into a minor faction, but still around.

As for the orcs, apparently there just doing what they've always done, except now that they have a smart leader, Nabar (thanks Solonavi, we appreciate it), there is actually some sort of pattern, instead of reckless, mindless destruction, they're specifically targetting important, strategic cities/regions for their conquest. Of course, they are still doing stuff for the Solonavi's puroposes as well, which have yet to be revealed, considering Nabar now owes them big time for his intelligence AND their obvious influence in Darq coming over to raise Rabahn. In the end, the orcs will fail because Rabahn, under Darq's control (he did necro him after all), will leave the clans, and (this it the most unlikely part) the Dracs will finally unite into one solid faction (possibly teaming up with Atlantis or, and I shudder to think it, the Rebels) and tear the Solonavi up (with some possible help from Rivenheim, I do believe the fiction said the KI remember the Solonavi from long ago).

My question is, when are the shyft going to rise to power, and what will that cause.

The Solonavi are the greatest. Who needs "decent" uniques when you have *** nons that are equal in power to UNiques.

Nothing Groundbreaking?! they were only the biggest bad***es in the game. The Dracs will have their time (again) just wait.

More than likely, the Elementalists will become the "underdog" and survive/win according to the "David and Goliath" theory. At the very least, they'll probably try to make Huhn defeat Darq, although in the end everything will depend on who wins the plot-based tournaments, won't it?

I understand. However, I just wanna know. If the league was to be conquered, what do you think will happen to them, according to my last post (see above).

I still maintain the postition that the elementals won't be completely crushed, at least not anytime soon, but IF they are, I believe it would be choice D, the faction splitting up.

The trolls and centaurs will be wiped out protecting the forest (some will still be around as the occasional hero, or as undeads)
The forest elves will become magic healers for other factions, a few for atlantis, a few for rivvenehiem, etc
The pixie/sprite things will be like the elves.

In other words, no more faction, but you'll still see the occasional "elemental" piece, but marching under someone else's flag

Actually... If you read the storyline, the Solonavi have been giving out great gifts of power to get people to follow their orders.

A) Nabar is under their control.
B) Darq is dealing with them.
C) The Seer lady is working for them.
D) Patchwork did some odd job for a Striker.
E) Boronx was made a seeker for defeating... Other dude. Corinth?

List goes on.

While it may seem that the Orcs and the Sect are more powerful now, it's because of circumstances.

The Orcs struck at the Atlanteans thorugh a desert that was thought to be impenetrable.
The Orcs gave the Atlanteans little warning to prepare a defense of Prieska.
The Orcs hit the Atlanteans while they were off trying to bash down Wolfsgate.

The Sect... Well, they've hit the Elementals while they had an army off in the Blasted Lands. They've also lost a good section of their forces due to the civil war in Necropolis, but they're forces are now fairly unified, and fanatic about destroying the League.

... About the Elemental results? Last I saw, they have 3 pieces of territory... The Black Pyramid. Stonekeep. Roanne Valle. (Sanctuary.)

They're small, but they've got territory. And taking Stonekeep is NOT easy, and neither will be the Valle. And the pyramid... Who knows what's going to happen to it?

See, the storyline is changing as the factions are being beaten down... Through the Solonavi meddling, previous impossibilites are now happening, like raising an Orcish warchief from the dead as himself... Fifteen years after his death.

And the Solonavi are getting the amulet pieced together. It's only a matter of time...

Also I do like the Dracs better than the solo, they look cooler and have more figs to use.

and they better have more figs theyve been around 2 years longer

Solo will get more figs, HOWEVER, so will the Dracs.....
