The orcs have twisted minds so their point of view doesn't count:p
Actually I am sure every faction is based on honor to some degree. Honor is what holds an army together. But the Elven Lords and Knights Immortal base their lives on it. Orcs and Atlanteans can't really compare with the sacrifices a high elf is willing to make to keep his or her honor.
read the orc fiction. you cannot say they have no honor, it states right in the fiction that they have honor in their entire method of setting up their armies to go to war. they way they choose their kzar and khans is based entirely on honor.
every faction has some honor, or almost every faction. it would be hard to say the shyft have honor, because they manipulate animals... and the solonavi dont really seem to have honor seeing as how they just force weaker people to strike deals with them
If you don't believe orcs have honor check out the story Under the Wolf's Head(banner?) that's here in the Tales of War forum. Oh and I think that a new faction (the Shaolin maybe?) should come to the nights aid. I wanna see some samurai like warriors. Or monks. or zen archers. Something oriental. It's all cool cause it could be the same time period and "The Land" doesn't necessarily mean a Europe like place. It coul have a bit of oriental culture to. And since the Japanese were very war oriented during those days (from what I can tell) it would be easy to see them as conquerors come from a land across the sea or just an area within the blasted lands or Rivvenheims where even the elves had not seen. Or when the Shyft awoke they brought them with them. Or the Solonavi maybe. They could've accidently picked them up during their multi-dimenshional travel and the Samurai warrior people followed them through the rift.
Basicly I like the Shogun and Samurai traditions and think they should be somehow incorporated into the game.
Well then, thus far I've been correct in my predictions about how the old major factions will be changed and the new ones will be brought in for 2.0. I don't like this changing/elimination of the old factions mostly because of principle, but I won't really care when 2.0 finally comes out. I guess WK thought they needed to start from scratch for 2.0 instead of hanging on to 1.0, not to say that 1.0 won't still have its place. It's a bit of a shaft to the Knight Immortal players though, to have your faction wiped out. But you can't please everyone all at once, and BPR is definately more popular than KI.

It is sometimes difficult to get people of this day to understand those sorts of things. People selfishly cling to thier own lives, break thier word without hesitation and keep alligences until things stop being profitable.

How true. And sadly we cannot change others as that would be breaking the sacredness of freewill. Although we can try to influence them....... hmmmm. Anyways thanks for the link. And remeber, the honorable may not always win but they stay true to what they believe and don't run from a fight they know they cannot win. And that to me is much more important than someone who's around during the good times and suddenly doesn't know ya during the bad. I need to talk to you more. From that post I'm pretty sure your a cool guy. And again thanks for the link. Strength and Honor.
Sengenjin out.
