What about Construct of Koranub. He has done pretty well in my games so far. 12 range and pole arm is a pretty deadly combo.

My other vote goes to Construct of Koranub (sp?). Solid range attack at 12" and pole arm to stop those pesky werewolves in their tracks.

I will have to go play with my Jess Blacklock though, vampirism in the second click... hmm.
