I'm slightly concerned about this. In no way do I expect a table top miniatures game. This game has become too complex to be played on a cell phone.
What I do expect is them to make small games featuring characters from the MK universe. Which isn't a bad thing, like people say, it's going to bring publicity to the game, as cell phone gaming is becoming very big.
A silly idea but what the heck. WK doesn't have to do anything at all but collect the license fee. So for them its a no brainer. But cell phones? Geez, that's the best you can do? I guess MK really has died as a game.
at least its not n-gage only on mmc cards that you spend $30 for....
well, how much it the download gonna cost?
a starters worth? I bet it will.
about bringing other players - have you seen how crowded bowling lanes got after they released bowling on cell phones?
Man- its impossible to get in those places. It seems that the DNC and the GOP oughta come out with J2ME games to gain votes!
"Oh great. This is my worst nightmare as an auto claims adjustor.
Now I will have to deal with you guys getting into auto accidents because you are trying to drive and play Mage Knight as the same time."
(On the nightly news)
A five car pile up occured today when a unnamed person on his cell phone went mad. Police investigators say the man was playing Mage Knight on his cell phone, when the random number generator program of the game failed to be random. The man rolled three critical misses in a roll, causing him to go crazy on the road. None were killed, but the cell phone was destroyed just before the accident. The wife of the man celebrated the death of the cell phone, claiming he spent all his time on the cell phone, never stopping to play Mage Knights with her. :p

All I can say is that if I get any claims of you guys driving and playing Mage Knight on your cell phones don't hold it against me when I stick it to you.
I am normally a nice guy, but in auto claims I get to unleash all of my stress and frustrations on people who cause accidents with the people that my company insures.
I have seen no people except obtuse 10-12 year olds who have been playing the new game boys (no offense to you who are obtuse 10-12 year olds, but just giving people a mental picture).
On the other hand, I see many people during graduation ceremonies, orientations, weddings, ect. playing cell phone games during the lag times.
Whether or not the game turns out well is in Elkware's hands. But as for the mobile medium, cell phones FAR surpasses gameboys, by the virtue of both consumers possessing them and current trends.
