I havn't played a game of MK in nearly a year...yet Im still here. I still buy a case every expansion and I still pull my figs out every onceinawhile. I'll be here until the game dies and chances are I'll be here afterwards too. Hey, if Battletech can survive 20 years after its' death, why can't MK? (not that I'm saying the game is going to die...just then it eventually does, I'll still be here).

Since we're on the topic....anyone have any idea what the aftermarket value of MK will be? I wonder if it will be worth buttloads of cash like old D&D books or if it will deteriorate like CCGs.

I also wonder if someone will always keep the last FAQ posted somewhere. Like, 20 years from now, if the game's dead, will there be someone to archive the rules...?

This Quitting mage knight thread is just silly, Most of us who read the realms are pretty hardcore players, Its safe to say Mage Knight isn't going anywhere. Im really pumped for Sorcery too...And i love the changes in the FAQ, nice work keeping the game in balance, the way it should be. Broken combos make the game less fun for all...Its supposed to be a deep game of strategy, not everyone using the same army and getting lucky by going second and other junk like that.

I am not quitting, but i don't know why... since day 1 of MK 2.0 i bought 2x 2.0 starters 4x2.0 boosters 6xDark Riders boosters and absolutely no unique, no ub-khan ***, 2xSalamanders get screwed by faq and 70% of my Dark Riders Units has a Misprint on its dial, there is no tourny nearby or far from my home... Thank you Wizkids, i love this game but you may take care better of me, if at least the next set come without misprints and no le, no uniques becomes more playable in a serious tourney, will not be a pain open three boosters and see nothing representative... because each brazilian booster cost US$10, brazilian minimum salary is less than US$100, yes there are poor human beings paid for one month hard work with a minimum :eek:
