I would think this statement should work both ways, don't you think? Or since I don't like the game in its current incarnation and what WK has done to the player base in my area I don't deserve respect? Just checking, as you seemed pretty specific in your statement.

You are completely correct, dfaz. My comment was not meant to sound so specific against those unhappy with MK right now. The respect needs to flow BOTH WAYS. Sorry if that didn't come across earlier...

The fact that those who are still playing MK are chasing off those that don't is completely bewildering. Just months ago these people were your FRIENDS! It's not like they are blashpeming against your religioin or something, people. Quit getting so uptight about little plastic men!

I miss 1.0's simplicity. I love 2.0's versatility. I don't use 1.0 and 2.0 together anymore, because the point system changed, and it would be unfair, because I would get more bang for my buck (point) with 1.0 than I would 2.0.

Hey, tihs discussion is kinda neat.

I don't really collect 2.0 because A: New Rules, and B: I've collected this game since it's start. Wow, was it really 4 years ago? So, I'm kinda taking it easy, and I might collect Dark Riders. Who knows? And, believe it or not, I don't have over 1000 figs and 50 some uniques. I really don't have a lot, and that's what makes this game fun- you don't NEED certain figs to win a game. You need a good strategy and a good attitude.
I think people shouldn't argue so vehemently about 2.0, and whether it's good/bad. I'm not too fond, but I still have some of them. And arguing isn't gonna change anything.
This is a great, exciting, and almost unknown game (serioulsy, my friends and I are the only ones at our large school who collect it), and I've been losing to my best friend at it for 4 years. I don't say, "Argh! I hate him!". I say, "Well, how do I beat him next time?" I don't see much point in arguing, because it is wasteful and angering (unless you have good reason).

Thanks, Bartuc, I appreciate the compliment, but as I mentioned to someone else who PMed me, I won't be gathering new information to discuss if I'm not playing, so I'm done posting in the open forums. If I start playing again, that may change. Of course, the Bunnies' Army Review thread is hard to skip, so you may find me there from time to time. ;-)

I disagree, if they have to listen to those who cheerlead the game, then it should be vice versa.

People should always voice their opinion, even the same one, as much as you want. Don't like it? Don't read it ;)

unfortunately this is a two sided coin. I don't think cheerleading anything is helpful cause it doesn't look at the negative aspects of the topic, whereas constant complaining or "dumping" doesn't help either since it rarely if ever looks at the positive aspects...its as if the other is afraid to give the other side some ground and base to stand on if they even admit that they might be right...*gasp* .... what has happened recently is a two sided war between those that love the game and those that do not like it.... usually in the off season players are in the middle ground discussing both good and bad aspects of some topic. But every so often (usually right before set releases) we get a switch in attitude and suddenly there are people who are determined to prove MK is a failure and there are those just as determined to prove that its not...... there isn't any..." well I agree about that small aspect of it but mostly i think the game is great"... it's flat out "your're wrong. I'm right." NOTHING is achieved that route.... but like you said... if there must be cheerleading there must be complaining.... you're absolutely right....BUT the case here is the complaining had brought about the heavy cheerleading.... both go hand in hand... Both need to stop...we can discuss the game but cheerleading complaints such as you are doing isn't matters better for the realms and others. we should take the discussions on a more civilized manner. leave the cheerleading out...on both sides.

Well I was PM'd about this post by Hexian. Apparently he believed I was attacking him indirectly. I am not attacking anyone nor am I doing anything indirectly I am simply responding to shadowmancer. I stand by the fact that with or without hexian... people will still be showing up prior to set release with complaints. they did with MK 2.0 and DR... it is no different now. I was asked that If I chose to include hexian in my conversation I should do so.... well I'm not. because my post was about those in general on the topic cheerleading their opinions, its not about hexian nor any particular clan whether DHC, lion, bunny or loon. as I said , the topic I mentioned above will still happen without their presence so it makes no difference. I'm still advocating that the anti and pro talks cease as my post above mentions that both sides stop cheerleading and start discussing rather than fighting but for now avoid pro and anti discussions as they have created a rather distasteful and untrusting atmosphere in here. in short people are reading more into a post than whats really there.
