What was the Scroll of Invocation for? There's nobody cheap enough in that army for the Tempest Priest to Summon back. If you'd dropped it, you coulda got another Cloak of Shadows, or maybe even Gishki's a dial! :p
The scroll was indeed useless, but was in there with the intention of having the Tempest Priest drop it, have Rava Drop the Cloak, then have Rava pick up the scroll and use it to bring Molog back. The problem with this idea is that it takes too long to put in motion, and both times I simply Revenanted back Molog.

Verrry clever. I'm sorry to hear you never pulled it off. That would be a neat trick indeed.
Oh yeah, I had a scroll as well (forgot about it). I had put it on Lady Rowan and I actually got use it once as intended. To summon a Batwing at soaring level; it then used quickness to go to ground level.
I often used two scrolls with Gaunt. Usually my spell caster had the second scroll. I can see the difficulty in having Rava being your intended summoner -he's normally too busy for this task.
Originally posted by NoGoCat I didn't know you can summon someone back at soaring level. Doesn't the mage spawn being brought back have to be in base contact with the summoner?
Yes, but if their flight bases are in contact, they are considered in base contact. Both the summoner and "summonee" have to have wing movement, though.
