Originally posted by Hero_guy How about a combo like this: Snow, Enchanted Fuser Rifle (I know it's not HIS fuser rifle), and Cloak of Shadows. That's about 125pts adn you get a 13 ranged attack (virtual 15 w/ Bloody Thorns), arcing fire, stealth (always wonderful to have w/ infiltrate), and the regular 4 ranged damage w/ pierce. You would need an 8 to hit the 23 def. Not too bad at all.
You do bring up the interesting point of using the Enchanted Fuser Rifle. That's a rather overlooked relic these days, esp. with many people using spellcasters. I like that...
Just a quick thing to say. I am an atlantean lover and despise Snow, but he is cheap and is a good sniper which is what I like. On the Snow's Fuser Rifle part, it makes his range 48 with 2 damage. I haven't looked at the relic in a long time, but couldn't he point blank at 24 inches and deal 3 damage. Add this with some other stuff that enhance his damage (domains, relics,AC) and he is set. Since Snow is under 100 points as is and even with a relic he would be cheaper than a lot of others, so with Dragon Slayers AC and Snow's fuser Rifle, couldn't he deal 4 damage at 48 range to a lot of more expensive uniques. Forgive me if any of this has already been said.
Also, with all the bringing back of people, I still think they need to make a Grand Magus Tezla figure. He would be a clear magus sculpt on a titan dial with his own special rules :D .
The enchanted Fuser Rifle is definately overlooked and underused. It's a mere 25 pts, offers Arcing Fire and a +2 ranged combat modifier. IT'S 25 POINTS ONLY!!! But I guess I use this more because I have lately been building armies around figures and not around figure/relic combos. But that's a subject for a different thread.
I would love to see Hunh back as a zombie. They have done it before with Kolt (poor Kolt...). So I wouldn't be too surprised to see another figure brought back as an undead minion. And I hope that the Possessed Drac comes back as Denkai. Of course by virtue of it being the Possessed Drac, it would have to be Solonavi. And that will hopefully give us the Mid-ranged beatstick that we so sorely need. Man, I can't wait for this set....
I think I must be the only one to think bound is critical on a bow figure. I will be curious to see how many nonbound bow figures win at nationals. Camping and hoping your opponent won't have stealth also seems pretty silly to me. I applaud the fact that they created snow, but I think he is 88 points of "toss in the closet."
I understand that he is a true sniper. Unfortunately, the MK play style does not support true snipers as useful in their own right.
My opinion,
Pickman
P.S. Don't use uncle guns to bodyguard snow, use uncle guns and give him his own bodyguard. It's a better deal.

I don't think it's critical. Of course, it's nice. I think it's much more important on a sword or wand ranged figure.
The very nice thing about bow is that you can tie up a figure that in the bow figure's range and still attack it at range with precision. Sword and Wand attack types don't gain that advantage typically.
With it, I imagine Snow would be well over 100 pts. I suspect the Bloody Thorns ability is somewhat expensive when full use can be made of it. It's even better than a +2 to a ranged attack (it pretty much gets around the Ro3, because I don't believe anything else reduces defense).

Gotta go with Picjman on this, Bound is essential on a Bow Figure if you want it to work the table.
Having said that DB makes a good point.
If you go for figures that are Sword Type, then you should get a reasonable CC attack value with the option of shooting on your way in to weaken the oposition or force them into healing figures and using up actions.
As for Snow, an interesting figure that will join all of the others in the huge games we play when everyone else tries to destroy my Orc Horde (and it does happen). Can't see it getting much successful use in tournament play, but who cares about that, it's still a neat figure.

I doubt Denkai will be a Solo if they do make him. Vextha couldn't continue to possess him, so he released Denkai and left him in a huge dungeon, according to Vextha's profile in the SC. Regardless, I hope they use somebody with the Possessed Drac sculpt!
