I am not sure if he will be playing in Philly but we will be at Origins.
Puh-leaze! :cheeky:
This joke's gone on more than long enough, Harles. Why don't you and Mr. J quit messing around? ;)
Since Magic? Wow.. that means you could have started playing all the way back... last week.. seeing as it's still going. =p
Harles.. why do you bother checking this post anymore? ..no one is going to believe you until you post the deck, and are either A. ) Laughed off the thread.. or B. ) Proven right.. ..otherwise it's a waste of your, their, and my time. good day. =p
Originally posted by harles2000 I wouldn't post the deck, that would not be smart on my part. I just cannot wait til after Origins so I can say "told you so".
Given that this god deck isn't even your own, I fail to see what you have to gain by even mentioning it.
The threatened "I told you so" gives me a few ideas though.
Originally posted by harles2000 The point of the post was to get people to tell me that no such deck existed. Getting people riled up and then proving them wrong is just plain fun.
How about, when whoever wins Origins/WWE, you say what deck he played and all of a sudden.. "See, I told you <insert winners name here> would win!"
Honestly, you are either going to have to fess up, or just be quiet. Nobody is going to believe you when you just SAY "This deck is broken."
Another thing, there is a big difference between a game that is inherently broken, and a player who intentionally makes an effort to break one. Guess which one this might be.
Well since this turned into a "I saw or heard this" thread. I was talking to some guy that helped to create this game. He by the way will be hosting a PTQ. I asked him if he played marvel a lot, which he replied "yes". So of course I had to know what kind of deck he was running. He said he could not tell me because his "team" of players would be running it. I didnt give up though. I told him I run brotherhood and that I thought it was the best deck. He said that he didnt think it was the best. I also mentioned that fantastic four were pretty good, and he said that he thought FF was better than brotherhood. He also said that killing your resourses with the brotherhood deck was a bad idea. Specifically I mentioned using Darkoth. Why?? He replied "In every TCG game there is nothing that lets you just kill your opponents resorces". I said "what about Ka-Boom!?" He said "That kills itself also." Please help me to understand our conversation. Is he playing a tier one deck? Why would he say killing your resources is bad, doesnt he know about the new brotherhood combo? He helped design the game, he should know. Plus, cards that kill resources are all benificial. Is he running a secret version of the FF, or something totally different. I have put together a couple fantastic four decks and they get crushed by TNB. He said that up at his store the TNB, get crushed by FF. Please help decifer our conversation.
