how are you supposed to have 5 cards in hand? thats the only part that i dont understand?

Turn 2: draw 2 - 7 cards in hand. Drop a resource and play human torch. 5 cards in hand.
Turn 3: draw 2 - 7 cards in hand. Drop a resource and play darkoth. 5 cards in hand.

Your original 4 cards + 2 drawn on turn 1 + 2 on turn 2 + 2 on turn 3 = 10 total cards.

You have 3 down as resources and 2 characters down.

10-5 = 5 cards in hand.

Id wager your closer to the number than you think. keep at it though.

Actually, taking out my build phase shenanigans leaves me down only 34. I feel confident that my final total of 182 is the maximum.
