I don't know if this is just a coincidence, but I like how the 7 cost Spidey and Doc Ock can't hit each other naturally (14/16 to 15/15). It's as if, after all these years, Spidey and Ock know all of each others moves and they need to be tricky (plot twists etc.) to get the job done. Nice, subtle detail.

I believe Typhon said they were shipped out on Saturday. Meaning that stores should have them start appearing soon-this week to early next week.

Now that I think about it, someone said they already had it in General Discussion and gave accurate descriptions of the Syndicate cards. So, I guess it's already in a few lucky areas.

Hi Folks,

We went back and forth on the numbering system for quite awhile. It's a very tricky issue. We ended up deciding to put the cards from the preview starter set in the low numbers, so that any last-minute changes to the other cards (especially name changes) wouldn't throw off the order of the other cards. They will have the exact same numbers in Web of Spider-Man that they do in the preview starter set.

Ah!! Thanks for officially clearing that up, Omeed. We can rest easy now (well, I can... don't know if anyone else cared :P).

Oh, BTW, can you explain why Nova comes after Punisher, Spidey, etc.? Alphabetically, he should be 004 instead of 009. :)

who knows, but with an effect like that he could be numbered anything they want.... nova,green goblin,kraven,venom,and 7 drop spidey are the sickest cards in that starter

Today is the last teacher day (kids were done yesterday) so if our grades are in and rooms cleaned, we can leave at noon. One hour and counting..............

Remember, Monday was a holiday here in the good ol' USA which means most comic shops will not get their usual shipments until tomorrow... Woohoo... I unfortunately realized that as I was just about to go run to the shop on my lunch break. Either way I think I'll go over and make sure they hold 3 starters for me when they get them (two for me and one for my girlfriend). Can't wait to try out these Sindicate cards!

Vulture + team tactics + Blind Sided = Life boost

I'm telling you, Sinister Sindicate/X-men is the way to go. There's so many ways to gain health. I doubt that there will be a Sindicate/X-men specific team up card but run some Marvel Team-Up and have fun with Vulture Team Attacking direct life points while the low point Cyclops is out. Heck, adding team attack and blind sided on top of it would make everything even better. Also, let's not forget X-corp for +4 for an X-men discard.

I have to say though, Lizard's power is disappointing. -4 endurance for +2 defense isn't what I would have expected from the Lizard. I've never seen him as the defensive type.

I'm still undecided on Rhino. I'll have to play with him before I can pass judgement. I think after a couple turns he'll no longer be worth paying the Endurnace to keep him out on the table.

Kraven, Venom and the 7 drop Doc Ock are making me VERY happy.
