Wow the set looks really really good. It looks better than I expected it to be, some real nice surprises my personal fave being Etrigan's Game text. :)

I already have ideas on the direction most of the teams will take when the set first comes out, but for the life of me I have no idea what the Arkham Inmates are trying to do! :( Granted I only read through the spoiler once (will do so again tomorrow and study the cards more when I'm rested) I couldn't find any standout synergy on my first pass. Does anyone have any ideas of what to do with these clowns? They really capture the flavor of their comic book personas though I'll give them that much! :)

What are the Inmates trying to do? Everything at once! If you're going to play Inmates, you've got to keep your opponents guessing. As soon as it looks like you're taking one path to victory, you switch to another. A good Arkham deck should always have at least three strategies going at once, while maybe rigging an election on the side.

League of Assassins is the greatest....DC Version of a Doom Deck....non unique locations...and dropping Trigon on turn 9 is the greatest.....

Concrete Jungles screws LoA over tho....and everyone else's locations too...but LoA is Location heavy...


funny tho...Dark Phoenix still pimps the new strongest 9 in the game....

When he comes into play oppenents must pay 8 endurence or they lose all their resourses.

The real shinning glory i think is Josef
he blows up locations and they get replaced from their hands meaning no hand (as many speed decks tend to run out of) no resource.

Just out of curiosity, but did the guys at UDE get a memo that said , " To all employees, raise the bar or you're fired." ?
Because they have taken VS. to a new level with like 70% of these cards.
Oh, and to jump on the Etrigan rocks band wagon, Awesome idea for text. However, I can see everyone trying to rhyme all of their character abilities now. So much for vs. competition. It's VS. Poetry.

Etrigan is awesome! one of my favorite comic characters. Although it would have made more sense if Jason Blood was a Gotham Knights character.

I think it's better he isn't a GK character due to the amount of times he has tried to use and exploit Batman and vice versa. I would call their team ups an uneasy alliance, so it just makes sense.
I am really looking forward to the lobo card to make it's way in because these two are always a hoot when they get together.

This set looks amazing. There will be so many team and card combinations to make that the metagame will be different in every card shop and every city across the country.

I noticed that some of the card pics are showing up now, but some come up as a broken link (little white box with the X in it). Am I the only one having this problem or are not all of the pics loaded onto the site yet?
