Nt all of the AF are mutants - only a couple of them are.

As for Marvel knights. As a team i don't think it would warrant it's own team, but it WOULD be a great additional team for the Spidey set, because you can then use multuiple copies of Daredevil or other characters right away. 2 More copies of Daredevil woudl make 3 playable, same for Punisher. Then you round out the set with the others who are not in the Spider Friends team.
A good point. I'll hold my breath on the MK set for now, because I have no clue what else is in it - I'm not sure MK can support an entire set - but MK/Defenders can. So if they split it with another team, but CALL it Marvel Knights, then I'm all for it =)
I'm kind of psyched to finally see Captain America, though - Vol. 4 (the Cassaday run) was a Marvel Knights book, so I'm sure we'll see him (along with Black Panther and Doc Strange!) if we don't see 'em in Spidey first...!

But nothing says i cant give you my email addy. [email protected] contact me there or send me an IM on AOL JessicaFowler81 or Yahoo Jessie_angel_525 IM me.
when indy comics were mentioned, would that include Image/darkhorse? i so want to play The Maxx, but i dont even think they print him anymore, so savage dragon would be sufficient... heh... image and darkhorse were my poisons of choice.
Indy means Indy - the specifics were neve asked. frankly, I'll take any indy I can get - be it DH, Image, 2000AD, Antarctic, Avatar - I'll take Evil Ernie and Cerebus as long as it's VS!! =)
As for the Maxx, that's tricky - it's Sam Keith's property, originally distributed by Image - but more recently distributed by Homage (a part of Wildstorm, which is a part of DC)
But I'd buy ANYTHING Sam Keith - so count me in =)
heh... sorry my question wasnt too clear, but i was meaning are dh and image considered indy, think you answered it anyway, but thats what i meant... heh... thanks for the answer though

You’ve done your homework, and you’re right – the current League is focused mostly on Ra’s and his “direct” family. As you’ll see with the Spider-Man set, we don’t forget about the “old teams” when we do a new set. In later expansions we’ll explore more of the League.
Just as long as it's not in my Superman set, buddy.
Actually, all the DC Origins teams leave themselves open for a silver age themed expansion at some point.

Only time will tell. And he’s usually pretty tight-lipped unless you get him liquored up.
That'll be one weird set.

Hourman's still around, man.

…Some mixed drinks, especially pina coladas and amaretto sours.
Holy 80's nostalgia, Batman!
Can't wait for the Thundercats.

I’m tempted to say Dr. Bong and win the five bucks Mike offered me, but there’s already enough substance abuse stuff going on in these questions.
For those of you who don't know, Dr. Bong is a bell themed Howard the Duck villain who has nothing to do with weed.

I've never been a big fan of gritty, edgy comics, but at least it'll get out some Marvel Icons that don't fit easily into teams.

I agree. I think the "old team" he was referring to will be Spider-Man related.

He wanted to answer you to tell you that they're never, ever going to make Alpha Flight.

Originally posted by Kergillian The ORIGINAL plan, as I was told many, many moons ago, which may or may not have been true, was to hae a JLA set followed by an Emerald Knights set.
Jeff Donais dropped a hint a few weeks ago that tells me that the Emerald Knights set is probably going to be ahead of the JLA set after all - so expect the set after Supes to feature the Gang in Green...and a Sinestro Surprise;)
That works out nicely. Having Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern sets all come out before the Justice League set makes means less variants in the long run.
Green Arrow as in how? I can see a hard-traveling hero version of Ollie with the Green Lantern Corp. team affiliation to commemorate that classic story line, but otherwise, I can't picture heavy Green Arrow influence outside of the Justice League set.
Let's ot forget the run of brilliant Green Lantern/Green Arrow comics Neil Adams out forth in the early 70s. What if (no Marvel pun intended) the Emerald Knights referred to a joint Green Lantern (and Corps) and Green Arrow team set? I can think of at least a dozen characters who could be justified with a position on a GA team.
Remember when the Emerald Knights rumor first came about? They said the Knights part of title was because the were sticking a few The Dark Knight Returns characters in the set.
Of course, I could see that changing if the set is being released early.
It didn't take us long to get back into the swing of things, did it Kergy?
Well, I remember that very well - I was the one who posted the 'rumour';)
BUT the more I think about it, the more I realize that there HAS to be SOME form of GA contingent in any GL set. I can't see GL's existence without Olie at his side. Since they would NEVER *DARE* to put Ollie in a Bats set (he'd kill Bats in the booster boxes and you'd REALLY have dead cards on your hands...) and he'd be rather awkward in a Supes set (his arrows would tear Supes' hosiery) then how could they possibly excuse him from being in the GL set...?
/removes all personal bias frm his comments from here on inward...
Yes, like I said, a Hard Traveling Hero version of Ollie would make sense as a guest star character for the Green Lantern Corp, and they could throw Count Vertigo in as an unaffiliated villain, but other than that, I'm not sure
