common enemy vs my beloved is very iffy. I'd have to say one of the biggest factors in the deck is who starts off with odd initiative.
of course, after some testing I've found out that initiative really isn't a big problem anymore. It's mainly up to how a person runs their deck and what changes they make to it.
but yeah, you're right. Fizzle is just insane and Babel technically "fizzles" clobberin' time, lost city, savage land, TNB for a turn, TTG, bamf, team attacks of any kind, etc.

That is why my sooper sekret unaffiliated deck is gonna rock the scene! ;)
Well before this turns into a feud on what deck will win out of favoritism for the deck or because it's done so well in previous tournments, I have to say to predict wich deck will win requires way to many numbers releys alot on the luck factor believe it or not. There are alot of powerful decks out there all wich have both good and bad matchups. Since the luck facotr can be such a big factor in the game consistan decks will always have an upperhand on those not so consitant decks, so whatever deck will win will be consitant with eather drawing/searching abilities to provide it gets what it needs to win in almost any circumstances. Another key factor is the players playing the decks, alot of the stronger players can in one sense be able to win matches that look impossible just by previous experience compared to the player they are up against. Also the meta-game is a huge factor, so determingin waht everyone is bringing tot he table is key on winning the 40k prize. Cause if you pick a deck with bad math ups to what the majority of the people are playing, it will be like running into a brick wall every round.. Also there are always new decks brought to the table that suprise people casue they havn't been tested agaisnt and players don't know how to beat it (i.e.: rigged elections}. So waht is gonna win...personally I can only have a wild guess. But I won't be suprised if I see Common Enemmy, Teen Titans, Brave& the bold and even curve sentinals in the top 8 at SoCal.
THats jsut my 2 cents

P.S. Sory for all the typos and not breaking it up am in a rush.
Originally posted by GDE My prediction is the winning deck will contain 60 VS. Cards. It will be a legally constructed deck. It will go 7-3 or better on Day One.
Going out on a limb here, but I predict it will win the Final Match.
The winning deck will be played by someone with 20 or more PCC's at the time the tournament starts.
Heh. The 7-0 Titans deck at the end of Day 1 ran 61. Better be careful with those predictions.
Well now that all of u guys have giving ur predictions. i say...
im just going to say some decks that I KNOW WILL BE IN TOP 4 for sure
1>at least one CE
2>at least one B&B
3>i have a feeling a sentintel whether it be majestics curve or vomit deck
4>Tech deck...something new and refreshing
now this is just my predictions on my observations of the current meta.
Curve Sentinels or TTG or Common Enemy in the finals, because the players who will take those decks will draft well. This isn't to say that these are the best decks, but that the players who will draft well and play well on day 1 will take one of these decks to the finals.
