Hey, you guys can say what you want about it. There was nothing in the game that allowed you to prevent your character from being targeted by opposing effects way back when. I recall a bunch of loud mouthed snooks who tried to say how terrible it would be to have a character immune to opposing effects and such, but lookie lookie, once again, ideas and suggestions that were later developed in to some form or fashion by UDE.

And your +3ATK pumps is a fail, since there's already one of those, right? Yeah, and it was made fun of too. Some of you are just plain hilarious.
