So that's why the titans are the team to beat? Looks like that one fell through the cracks as they say. Anyways, the article was very informative. Since I tend to be a news junkie, I liked the format of it. Also, my favorite founding first family(F4) is going to be released, which is cool. And by the way, they never had a starter, it was only Xmen and Brotherhood.
That was pretty cool. I really wish you would have asked him which 5 cards he wished they had never printed. That would be really interesting to know.
I kinda don't like that he's implying that Cosmic and Evasion are not really going to see much more print. I was kind of thinking most of the GLs would have Cosmic and plenty of Batman cards could be given Evasion.
I just hope UDE doesn't burn itself out with all the mechanics. It looks like they're pacing themselves somewhat with the teams at least.

We asked ALOT of things that they refused to answer. They just love to tease.

This is the part of the interview that intrigues me most...
Why not release this on Friday? Could it be that a bigger announcement is coming down the pipe on Friday?
It sounds like they were hinting to you that you need to ask better and more specific questions. Make sure to keep that hint in mind next time you do one of these. ;)
I think Batman Begins comes out on June 17, unless the Super Bowl lied to me.... Why would they release the deck in march? I like their starter decks for movies tactix though, I want the F4 one
I'm glad that En-Kur asked the question about weenie strategies because its something that I believe that weakens the game. Curve is the only way to play, so tutors are a must for any team... Sinister Syndicate and Deep Six were both supposed to be weenie strategies and neither can touch TNB, which has had to become "Medium Brotherhood" to survive.
I don't see Marvel Knights changing this any. I suppose that an "ignore your opponent" concealed weenie deck could conceptually do well, but unfortunately there isn't even enough solid early concealed characters to make such a deck.
A true weenie team would need a LOT of 1 and 2 drop characters, each at the top of the curve and with a solid power. I mean imagine if Shriek was a one drop and Speed Demon was his original 2/1 CAN attack after readying, and if Hired Goons didn't have that "this turn" kiss o' death on it. Suddenly SS could potentially run a weenie strategy.
This is something that I'd really like to hear Danny discuss further.
yeah this isn't magic were you can bring out a ton of weenie's and win. Then again also in magic you can uild a deck that wns first turn 75% of the time w/o rigging it. As for the starter decks, this will be great to help teach my cousin to play rather than the spidey decks, they just don't work as good.
