Wow lots of places we're talking about this. Anyways, for the gazillionth time, I believe that we'll get a set that focuses more on 2 older teams (like X-Men and Brotherhood) while adding 2 new teams (like Morlocks and Exiles).

Its an idea. The whole set is then tied together by "Mutants" or something. Repeat this with other teams that can have big updates... like... Teen Titans.

I think Latuki Joe is on the right track. I'm really big on the Marvel Cosmic titles, so I'd love to see the Skrulls and Negative Zone teams become playable. The Infinity watch would be a fun new team...Adam Warlock anyone? The Infinity Gauntlet as an equipment? Lots of varied power characters here willmake for a great team.

I thin that it would be nice to take a year, ie four expansions worth, and flush out the teams that we already have. It might be nice to have some crossover characters from DC to Marvel, like would happen time to time in the comics; it might also be great to do some alternate universe versions of cards, but not mess with the team affiliation, except where appropriate. So I think that their could be just a few more teams that have their own developed identity, but then maybe focus on filling out characters, or character versions. I don't think that, for God's sake, VS should create teams unique to the game.

What I guess the new teams will be in the next 2 expansions:

Marvel: Cosmic beings (Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, Thanos) and Apocalypse (Four Horsemen!!!)

DC: JSA, Legion, Outsiders (if UDE wants to p*** us off, they can make Arsenal exactly the same as the TT version, so that we can all be abused 8 times instead of 4.)

What teams I hope I will see in the future:

1. WATCHMEN

2. City of Heroes (C'mon, won't a tie-up be cool for both companies?)

3. Grendels

I can't see cross-overs coming in the next few years.

But eventually, yes. As a last-ditch effort if the game declines.

But the game can't fail.

I always thought we'd see Amalgam Comics at the end of the ten year plan. I mean, double loyalty is perfect for that storyline. :laugh:

for Marvel:

The Infinity Watch.....will consist of marvel's better cosmic related heroes, The Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, Captain Universe, Drax, The Inhumans, etc....

Of course they will be countered by the likes of Galactus, terrax, morg, Thanos, the magus, etc...

DC would be an interesting debate though......I really couldn't say what would pass the JLA. How about a Kingdom Come set?

After that they should go back through all the sets and remake them. Mostly in a way ban all cards for the old MOR (when the new one comes) and remake half the set, take out cards like Signal flare, doom 4 drop, losyt city, stuff that is really broken, and bring us some new stuff, that have new effects, it would give us a chance to stop using broken cards. here are 4 cards for MOR and DOR that will prob be banned.

swamp thing, death, the sandman, etc....it would kind of balance out with marvel knights/underworld for the darker character approach.

A DC set with the following:

-JSA
-Flash Team (Call it "the Speed Force"?)
-Injustice Society
-Flash Rogues

JSA is the best team comic on the shelves these days, period. Plenty of members with varied powers will make for a nice team. Flash team because Flash characters are fun, but mostly just so I can get a Rogues team. Injustice Society because the JSA needs a villian team. Johnny Sorrow and the gang are pretty cool. Flash Rogues because they are some of the neatest characters ever now that Johns has made them a threat and not just a joke. They have plenty of members and would probably make a good rush deck. Zoom would be one of if not their biggest drop.

I don't know what I would like to see from Marvel next. I'll just be glad to have the Avengers. It's been a long wait thus far for what was one of my favorite comics while growing up. As long as I get a green Hulk sometime soon I'll be happy.
