Look at it this way.......if they had both of the origin sets go at it, marvel would probably win. It has by far most of the needed basic cards in either set. Overload, Savage Beatdown, Flying Kick, things that are not team stamped. It would be good too see if they ever had a tourny throw down though with both original sets.
I agree that we are going to need some clarification from UDE. At first I thought it was strange to have the PCQs go Modern, especially if its after the PC. That means you can't practice with your deck before the PC. I would prefer the chance to practice Modern Marvel before the Modern Marvel PC. Also, it doesn't make much sense to do Marvel Age between Amsterdam and New York. That is only 7 weeks, not much time to play in a format. UDE would be better not to change the format at all during that time.
All UDE has said is that PCQs are going to use Modern Age formats, no one has said anything about Golden Age in PCQs after Amsterdam. I hope someone can clarify this.
