well had a much smaller turnout - 17 people, i finished first which was nice got the playmat, ea and deck box which is what i really wanted, my rares prolly arent the greatest but ive been waiting for this set since spiderman which was a disappointment to me..hope all else had fun this prerelease was at a new location for me, decent place

How can u say Comic con ran it better than brad's? Last time i went to comic con they gave out most of the stuff to the first 2 flights which were convieniently all the stores regulars and owners friends. They even started earlier than they said on their website! No, comic con is shady and I'm glad they won't be having anything for the rest of the year.

As for unity, they always do right. tho I was surprised at the huge flight I still had fun. I finished 9th (why fate why???) but one of the top 8 had already recieved one of the prizes so i got the last deck box (w00t!) which is what i wanted anyway.

first seald, 30 players...I won that event and the rest of my team was in the top 10.

Second sealed, 25 players and Team TIC had the top three spots :)

5 Mjolnirs, 2 Thor, 3 Gamma Rage, 3 Playsets of the Stacker Promos, a playset of Mightiest Heroes and one hell of good start on an avengers deck :)

Mine is tomorrow @ 10:00, although I will be going around 9:00. I'm mostly there to see all of the new cards and hopefully win some kind of door prize or something (I LOVE the new deck tins!)

Mine was fun....I did terrible, but I got off two combos that made me die of laughter (one actually helped kill me a bit faster too). I missed my seven drop, so I played out the scarlet witch. I have 5 characters out, my opponent has 5 characters out...and then my scarlet witch found out about her children and killed half of each our teams...the avengers were disassembled...then, I pumped her up to a 17 atk and sent her crashing into Hercules....so many dead avengers....

On top of that, I played someone and turn 6 he had 4 characters out. Only 1 stunned and he killed 2 of my 5...i kept them dead, after all, the scarlet witch was in play....Turn 7 was my initiative and I drew into the hulk....naturally i was a happy camper, for i played out the hulk and they had 5 guys....and then the scarlet witch finds out about her children again....this was a very ugly and awesome win....

and crowded I got Thor 8 drop holo,Thor 4 drop,A T-shirt,Caiptan Marvel

But greedy DDRmaster wouldn't trade me his Holo Avengers Assemble he traded to someone else YOU MEANY GREEDY

Let us list all the things DDRmaster did to offend today.

-tried to steal the arm rest to my wheelchair

-Tried to tip my wheelchair

-TRIED TO STEAL MY CARDS (wich I had to attempt to break his wrist)

I had an awesome time at the preview! Not only did I get a bunch of great cards (including my namesake God Of Thunder), but I scored a playmat, deckbox, and a couple of EA Earth's Mightiest Heroes as well.

Sadly, I didn't get the Gamma Rage as I had hoped :(. But I am going to another Sneak Peek tomorrow, so maybe I'll get lucky there!

I... LOVE... THIS... SET!!!

I played in Neutral Ground it wasn't that bad. Yes it there were three tournaments which was a terrible thing but the great thing was that top 32 got 3 packs and the EA so that was really cool.

It was fun and it wasn't BDM's fault it just was bad luck that all those tournments got scheduled the same day.

We had like 36 people at ours. Pulled a Hulk and Earth's Mightiest - and despite pulling only the 4 drop Iron Man and Warbird as my only other Avengers cards, I'd be damned if I wasn't gonna play that Hulk. So, instead of putting together my two most plentiful teams, Thunderbolts and MoE, I went with Thunderbolts (my fav) and Avengers, splashing Squadron and MoE and even a Kang guy.

Hulk smashed for 24 in one game with Earth's Mightiest - just made my day.

Anyone else notice that 7 drop Squadron Sup. Chick i think she is like a common or something. we had 2 in one day I placed like 13th in one but got 3rd in the other. that 7 drop Squadron Sup. Chick won me just about every game I played in the second one. She is ruthless if used correctly.

I was at the same event Grendal went to. I finished 3-2. I had an Avengers/T-Birds w/ some SS splashed in to cover my drops and both of the team ups. I still finished in the prizes at 38th. It was a bit of a train wreck in there. the room was booked until 5:00 PM and they weren't kidding! They're passing out prizes and the hotel staff comes in and starts clearing out the room for a banquet this evening.

I got foily Avengers Assemble!, and the Avengers Mansion is STRONG. A/SS team up is strong if you can handle top decking.

My youthful crime fighting ward slugged through it and came in dead last. People who dropped out did better than he did!:p It was OK, he was there to have fun and pick up some toys. Everybody got the EA Cap and Iron Man.

This prerelease was LOADS better than the GL @ Comic Connection. There was Actual Prize Support!
It was VERY well organized.

Those who recieved the random prizes simply couldn't win a 2nd of the same if they placed top 8, they still got the rest of the swag. Instead it would trickle down to the next in line.

It was pretty fair, everyone seemed like they had a good time, I pulled 2 Kang, Immortus, a Jarvis, and a foil Bring Down the House which has some sick Tim Bradstreet art. Even recieved EA Earth's Mightiest along with the rest of the top 32!

If JLA pre-relase's there, so am I!
