...it's also easy to team-up X-Men with Avengers (Beast 1drop).
Then you have Avengers Assemble! as a tutor, plus nice team attack options (cyclops 2drop).
Originally posted by cyke a clone of sinister, or sinister's DNA, hence why gambit has red eyes.
in fact sinister has many clones of his maruaders, which is why when the x-men kept killing them, essex just popped some goo into the microwave and made more headhunters, scapels and so one.
although sabertooth is like the only maruader he has not had to remake.
WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!!!
I knew about the whole, Maruaders cloning thing, but when/where was it chronicled that Gambit was/is Sinister's/Sinister's DNA clone?!?! WTF?!? I don't remember this. shocking, and yet, it also doesn't make any sense.
Apart from the red eyes, they seem to share NOTHING in common(!) All other mutant families have related abilities/powers: Havok & Cyclops, Cable & Nate Grey & Rachel Summers & Jean Grey (sort of), I forget, did Polaris ever end up actually being related to Mags like they were toying with, or not? I think so. Also, Wolvie & X-23.
I mean, all clones (not that Marvel has spotless continutiy, mind you) seem to have related looks/powers as their clones/siblings/relatives. So I'm just confused
Originally posted by cthulhu Bill, I don't see your point about Longshot and Cerebro. Does anyone still play them in the same deck? Does any other deck with Cerebro in it actually keep track of their library order?
Well, it has been done before, so I guess it might happen again. But the real reason I formed my sentence to include both was that it kept it clean and succinct; I was going more for an "or" than an "and."

micheal jacob's ( the "S" is to show possesion) force deck, does keep track of his deck order, so once he goes through his deck with cerebro and longshot, it makes all of his longshot calls dead-on.

i was not posting that for you, billking, more for cthulu, since he asked, and i thought he would appreciate an actual answer, not the smart-ass post, you seem to enjoy posting.
Errr.... In case you guys didn't notice, there IS a general character tutor
The card's illustration is daredevil back to back with elektra...
Figured it out yet? It's weapon of choice, IMO the best tutor you can ever hoped for, made especially for decks that don't have team-stamped tutor of their own.
Just be sure to have 2 version of the mid to higher drops....Case closed
While Weapon of Choice is a decent stand in for a tutor, its still doesn't come close to the real thing. Besides, with some of the stuff that the Xmen bring to the table, your better off not letting your opponent have that decision.
While Cerebro is good, GLEE proves what can happen with a tutor and a Cerebro.
Personally, I liked DocX's suggestion. An Xavier that tutors with a Cerebro in play.
Just create a Cerebra that does what Cerebro does. Then you can run 3 or 4 of each and if you draw both, you have double cerebellum action! Maybe even give Cerebra a discard effect that searches only if Cerebro is in play. Oh yeah.
