how is MMA important for MXM sealed games. i can just play limited and learn that format.
I desperately want to know what the format is I am going on hol to australia in like 2 weeks for a month if i dont find out soon i will have less than a month to test for the 10K
well sealed uses half of the cards in mma so its a good idea to know which ones are the good ones, playing mma will help that plus i did mention the city champs as well which is mma
The PCQ format is MXM limited and testing MMA (constructed!) is not the best way to prepare for it.
The City Championships format is MMA and anyone with 10K aspirations is going to for most of the part ignore MMA if that's not the 10K format.
I love how the US 10K schedude (formats listed) up to December 2006 has been up for a while yet we don't even know the location of the supposed May event.

Qualifiers in the Twin Format. From February '06, European Pro

cool promotional items up for grabs!
This decision is based on feedback from both players and TOs as well
as Upper Deck's own analysis of Pro Circuit Qualifier and Pro
Circuit attendance. We are confident that the change will help grow
the Pro Circuit Qualifier program across Europe."
Furthermore, all UK and Ireland PCQs will be Sealed Format. Constructed premier events will take the form of VS City Championships (details below)

VS City Championships
The City Championship program has come to the VS System card game!
We are now taking applications for TOs to host City Championships in
a bid to crown the best players in the UK and Ireland! The format
will be Marvel Modern Age constructed (Marvel Avengers and Xmen) and
like all our Premier Event programs, we shall be supporting the City
Championship with some great prizes (promo cards and trophies for
starters!). The City Championship program runs from March to April.
10K Event
And finally, to end on a higher note, we are please to announce that we have approval to run another UK 10K Championship in May! I will provide more details (location, format etc.) as soon as they become
available!

Upper Deck UK
The UDE website still only has PCQ's listed as far as 25th March. Can I ask who is responsible for submitting and/or updating the UDE website tournament listings?
Not only are we missing out on 10K information, we are possibly missing PCQ info as well.
I am busting a gut to try and get people more involved in the game. I have bought friends starter decks to get them into the game, I recently lent out a load of cards to get people to play in the Luton City Championships. I personally am putting time aand money into getting people to play this game, and yet I feel let down by the apparent lack of support from UDE Europe/UK. I don't even know who to be mad at. Who should I direct a letter of complaint to? UDE Europe? UDE UK? UDE US?
I would genuinely like to write a formal letter of complaint about this whole situation. If someone could provide me with email and or postal addresses, I would be most grateful.
yeah i would like to know whos job it is to sort this stuff out and why its not happening. what is going off? all we want to know is where and when is our 10k is, its not hard and its not like this is the first tiume they have done it or its not what they get paid for! any info even if its "we have nothing sorted because ......" would be nice. its costing the ppl at ude players as they are off to play magic.
I would have to agree for many player the lack of tournament support or indeed even any form of communication by UDE UK/Europe is starting to attract players to other better supported games.
As for a formal complaint what i would suggest is that as many UK TOs and or serious competetiev players pool together to send UDE Uk/Europe a formal complaint letter/pettition to address the current low opinion many players have atm. Barring a response within 2-3 weeks this should then be forwarded on to UDE US.
this should give UDE UK/Europe a last chance to let its players know what the hell has happened and if not UDE US can bring make sure something is done about this.
Wll, I'vew started by posting something in the Dear Upperdeck forum here. I've started thee to give them the option of making a public statement. If we don't here anything, I'll start sending it to random upperdeck emails addies until I find the correct one.
