You guys do know that Arisa is like 12, right? She uses her Green lantern ring to make herself look older.
I mean, let's be honest; hot is hot. Some six year old picks up a power ring and turns into a smoking supermodel, I guarantee you all the guys would totally hit that.
In fact, I think that would be a good premesis for a comic. Kinda like a female shazam (as long as we're making males into females to feel less gay). Six year old girl says Shazam, gets struck by lightning and become a smoking super-powered hottie.
It may not sound like a good premise, but it's better than any of the X-men stories of the last decade. :classic:
lol i love this forum, but no one has yet to sing my petition, lol, we all agree its horrible yet, no mentions having another one, lol, i love this site, lol

Look up "Mary Marvel."
I think the 5 drop She Hulks look good. Their just not played.
So wanting to look at pictures of big sweaty mens (three snaps up!) in tights and speedos (not that there's anything wrong with that..) is less of a homoerotic fantasy than enjoying scantily clad women punching people in the face.
I can see that... sure
Anyways, you really put to much into it. RanmaSolo is right on the money. Its an easy way to get another target audience without spending too much brain power. "Dude, we need to get more readers! We need busty chics but have a creativity block! ....."
And as a side note I always liked She-Hulk on the comedy level. Sensational was the only non X book I read when I was a kid cause it was the only comedy comic that I thought was funny. And John Byrne's art was just great.
Well, the gay comment applies primarily to the psychological study discussed previously in this article; IE: people wanting to see female versions of their favorite male superheroes because they already have some attraction to the male versions, and don't want to feel homosexual about it.
Obviously the target audience has a lot to do with it; women in tights (or in some cases, what clearly could only be bodypaint) is very attractive. But deep down, creatures like She-Hulk and She-Thing are based on characters that are so inherently male that a female counterpart seems inherently "a bad thing".
I personally think She-Hulk is represented as what a she-hulk should be, an ugly hunk of green muscle empowered by rage. I never bought the whole "Bruce Banner becomes nice guy gray hulk" bit; I certainly don't buy She-Hulk having control of her emotions. The Avengers picture represents what happened to her during "Avengers Disassembled", where she lost complete control of her emotions and ripped Vision in half. She looked like an ugly, brute man-woman.
I mean, at least most of the female characters are based on male characters women would find attractive to begin with; She-Hulk, she-Thing? Ewww...
Ah well, as someone said before, its no less a cop-out than any villian version or junior version. Captain Marvel, Mary Marvel, Captain Marvel Junior, Black Adam... Flash, Kid Flash, Jesse Quick.. hey, if thier character and stories are well written then hey, more power to em'
But just to be slightly on topic with the OP (why the hell not right). Yeah, the art on the MAV She-Hulk was arsetacular... and personally I thought it was indicitive of an odd trend of better art on the DC cards for the most part than the Marvel cards. But thats just me. The 5 drop one by far is the most classic and solid representation.
