Actually, as the metagame is right now, he's not playable because he's a 7-drop.. But we'll see if that changes with this set.

Of course he isnt playable right now but I think he will be very much so once DC MA comes around. Marvel and golden age all go for the off curve really fast decks. Once DCMA sets into as the format, we will see alot of slow decks that do go to turn 7 and turn 8 I believe. This is of course with the exception of Good Guys who end their curve at 5.

Yea DC modern is Going to be one of the first Curve Freiendly Metas in a long time, that is assuming there isnt like some Uber Rush team in Crisis which there doesnt seem to be.

Assuming the following:

1. Each of the founding Villains United members will get two versions. (What can I say? I like consistency.)

2. The unknown versions of Deathstroke and Doc Psycho come before the known versions. (U and T are pretty low on the alphabet).

I'd say that Dr. Light, Dr. Polaris, and the other Dr. Psycho fill in the gap between Slade and Fred.

Do any of you think there'll be a sub-heading (forget what it's called, like Freedom Force) for Earth-1, Earth-2, Earth X, etc.?

Lex is on the teaser site. We've already seen a JSA Batman with the version Earth-2. I expect there to be more.

It also confirms that:

(a) Earth-2 will be a sub-team

(b) There will be a way to have Earth-1 and Earth-2 versions of characters to work together

(c) JLA and JSA will be close knitted

They may make an Earth-2 location just like they have Wrecking Crew, Forever People, Acolytes and Freedom Force referencing versions ... [either directly or indirectly]

We can also infer from his placement on the list that Earth 2 versions of characters that have been on both Earths (namely Ted Grant) aren't necessarily "locks" to get Earth 2 versions. Since I doubt we'll see two versions of Ted in this set. No disrespect to the character, I love Wildcat, but there's so much JSA to cover, it seems there's going to be some very tight selection going on.

Anyways, Superman is up. He looks very interesting. Unfortunately, I'm not very well versed in the JSA or the alternate Earths, so I probably won't be too much help speculation-wise for this set. :(
