I seem to recall a crossover where Captain Marvel said Shazam at the exact moment Clark went into a phone booth to change, and they swapped places. If i am not mistaken, this has happened mroe than once.

Lame? Well, no more lame than the Superman Family versus the Shazam Family, so go look at one up too.

But since there is a hostory of these 2 together, the team-up is a natural waiting ot happen. And the hijinks that can ensue should be legendary.

Side Note... Capt Marvel is magic based, so he should kick supes ass with NO effort, but it never seems to go that way.

The reason for this isn't powerlevel, IMHO.

Billy may have the Strength of Hercules and the Wisdom of Solomon, but Supes has more actual combat experience than most ARMIES. Supes never actually overpowers Billy, he out manuver's him.

Or he just gets lucky. ;)

Unfortunately, I am not Ron. Fortunately, you will easily be able to find out who I am by looking me up at the next PCQ (where I will be judging).

I personally can't wait to system failure SHAZAM! and when that happens I'm gonna yell SHAZAM! at the top of my lungs.

And yes, Superman usually wins by outsmarting the "magical" superman.

Also, Kryptonite doesn't only affect superman. It also effects Supergirl and Superboy if I'm not mistaken. ANd I think it does it to Power Girl as well. Not sure about the last one.

The worst part about the 6-drop Captain Marvel? He's hosed more by (the card) Kryptonite than any of the Superman family characters. Apparantly, even the material of Krypton hates magic. lol

Well Scarecrow makes sense I mean doesn't Fear gas still work on Captain Marvel? and that pic is horrible why couldn't they get Alex Ross to do both versions of him.

Hmm, I like the art. I suppose I could imagine different art (but not Alex Ross, please), but I like the picture. It's original, and not a traditional superhero "posed" image.
