i was one of the players in the match next to bulk's(they were playing at the edge of the table and my match was on their other side). i didn't hear anyhting fishey. my opponent seemed kinda down after i knocked him out of day two contention, so i can't really invision him "snitching" if he heard anything. the story i heard was that bulk's opponent was talking to a friend of his about the match when i judge walked by and hearing a snippet of whatever they were saying inquired about the story.
Splits are illegal except in the finals of an event. Therefore a "split" for a concesion is "Bribery".
It is also against the rules of VS to NOT inform a judge if you know the rules are being broken. So NOT reporting Bulk is worthy of being reported yourself.

P.S. Snitches only get stitches if they're all ready #####es.

If they do, most people did quote him so his words are still presevered in that very thread.
I've never put anyone on my ignore list (even trolls), but he's very close.

I considered it myself, but he is almost amusing. The funniest thing is how he insists on stating these "strong" opinions after his actions have already made him completely worthless in terms of respect. Like, everything he says is the exact opposite of what an intelligent person would think or something. And even funnier, he probably thinks people are listening and that UDE is hurt by his spewings.
Since we're here, if Bulk did offer a split, how is this different than what every pro team does when two of its members are teamed against each other and one pitches to the other with a better chance at the money on a "pre-detemined team split"?
Just puttin it out there.
And perhaps you'll tell me no pro team would do this, or does this, or that there is some provision for this in UDE rules.
Players may concede a game or match at any time, provided that the concession does not involve compensation in exchange for the concession. Players may not offer their opponents any type of compensation or bribe in exchange for a concession.
The pro splits are pre-determined within the team and therefore there is no compensation in exchange for the concession.
ANYWAY what did Bulk do exactly that has everyone pissed off at him? Besides "running" the most laughable site ever... why is like everyone so mad at him....
well i just took stu;s advice and read threw a lot of this dudes posts. alls i can say is hahahahahahahahahaha no life fat guy living in mommy's basement bieng a inteernet tough guy. also i have noticed since stu has called the dude out he has no reply?????? wonder why.
but on the initial thread. bribery is lame as hell maybe and i mean maybe betweens friends or team ates it's borderline depending on circumstances but other than that
OFF WITH THIER HEADS.
i have seen first hand of a certain ST.CLAIR (the lesser kown of the 2) try to bribe and con his way threw a modern marvel (mmk sf) pcq threw out the day and i personelly came forward and said something after a few rounds it's not cool at all and messes with all the players who actually test thier asss off to try to become a better player and win the right way.

Read the thread.
Specifically, the second post. It was mine. I promise it's short, and easy to find.
Some tough guy, eh? I felt pretty bad for Michael Jacob when the troll started trying to puff him up today. I mean, how embarassing would it be to have someone like that as a fan?
Originally posted by dragon11 I've always been hard-wired never to be a tattle-tale, so in all honesty, I probably wouldn't have reported it, but thinking this situation through it makes sense. What Bulk did was cheating against everyone in the 10 K who had a chance to make Day 2 based on their own merit.
Roman Court for Bulk:
Thumb down
I've always been told the same thing. You don't snitch on someone. Then again I was told to always do the right thing. So if I over heard someone trying to bribe a player I would say something mainly because no one knows how far those bribes went before, if he has done other things wrong and in a round about way it targets me as a player, if he is weezling his way up the chain. Now if he tried to bribe me..I think I would tell him cash up front and then play my heart out to win..even if was going to be the only win I could get. The afterwards, I would march right to a judge with the cash in hand as proof that someone tried to bribe me. It's a little hard to over look someone willing to give back the $300 (that is the amount I heard) just to prove someone was cheating.
Then again if I thought I could keep the cash, and the win and get away with it all...I might do that, just to pay for drinks for those wanting to kick back after making day 2.

I'll keep that in mind if I ever sit next to you, and see someone cheating you out of a win.
More so if you see it, and need someone to confirm what your telling the judge. "No sir, Mr/Miss Judge. Everything looked on the level..I think someone is just being upset over a lose."

No way. The whoops guy is a Michael Jacob fan, we found out today. He signed one of his posts with a name, but surely he is not dumb enough to really identify himself.
(I am actually an MJ fan myself, I always have been... although the complaint about timing-out was very very unseemly.)
