How is this a riddle?

If you felt like reading the whole thing, or being interested in my puzzle form teh start, you'd know what the whole setup is for the riddle. This is just an update thread letting the people who are involved witht he riddle know the status of the game and what info I would need from them.

The actual riddle is to be mailed to the participants in due time.

You have sparked alot of peoples intrests. So maybe you could post stuff that has already been figured out, or post everything after it was done. Or maybe you could just post the stuff on the internet and change your mind????

Yeah lets hang a man for trying to do something different. If you would have read the starting post of this topic you would have seen that because of the nature of the riddle it has to be liminted to a certain number of people.

Also, NOTHING has been figured out yet. The puzzle is still waiting to begin.

But, since I'm a nice guy, when the puzzle has been solved, I will leave it up to the winners to post their puzzle deconstructions in this thread.

First off, the Friday deadline for "pre-signed" applicants hasn't arrived yet.
Secondly, if the remaining 4 people don't reply, I'll have to quickly get replacements for them
Thirdly, mail won't go out until Monday.
and Fourthly, keep your pants on!

Three quick notices:

#1) The deadline for the original registrants ahs been bumped up to 10pm tonight, due to my work constraints (I want to be online when the deadline is up)
#2) If there is more than on "unreplied" name left on the list, I will be dropping the number of contestants down to 26, so I can keep a copy of the puzzle on hand for myself (just in case).
#3) At 9:55 PM PST, I will post in this thread. Five minutes after that, anyone who wants in on the contest can fill up any left over slots by posting in this thread. DO NOT PM ME! As it stands, we'll have 2 open slots left, so post quick.

Quick question, I know that you are going to mail out clues and stuff, but will the actual riddle be posted on the realms once everyone has received their clues, otherwise whoever receives their clues first has a better chance of winning.

Now I am likely 100% off base but what I am thinking this is, is that everyone will be sent x different cards. However each person will be sent one card that is the same. The people have to some how work to determine what cards the other people were sent without divulging too much information about their own cards. IDK on this thread it says "How long can seven strangers hold one secret amongst them?" so thats why I think that, likely way off base though.
