i keep my rares in a binder that is mostly organized by team.
commons and uncommons are in a 4000 ct box and a 5000 ct box. they are organized by team -> cost -> alpha, with team stamped PTs by cost -> alpha then team stamped Locations cost -> alpha, then team stamped equipment. non-team-stamped PTs are by cost -> alpha, same with non-team-stamped locations and equipment. i keep a playset of characters and teamstamped stuff unless they are really usefull and show up in lots of decks. equip and locations are 2 playsets unless super usefull. pts are 1 playset for useless stuff, 2 for usefull stuff and as many as i can for stuff like Flying kick.
For those of you who are interested, I've posted some pictures of the card hotels "in action".
My next question to those of you who use binders - what type/brand of binders do you use? I want to get a good quality trade binder, but there are many different types (damn you Office Depot!). Any suggestions? Any to for sure avoid?

Pages- I use Ultra Pro Platium pages (19.00-25.00 for a box of 100)
Binders- I go to Walmart or Meijer, and get 2 or 2 and half inch binders so I can fit everything in it, with locking rings and a hard cover. If I am going to put a lot into it, I go for something a little bigger like 4 inch.

So, roughly how many UltraPro pages would you say fit into a 2.5 inch binder?
In my 3 inch D-ring binders (the kind where the rings have a flat side) I can fit 2 sets, with 4 copies of each card. Each 220 card set requires 26 pages - so 52 pages filled - give or take
Also - I use the Avery Heavy Duty binders - and seldom travel with them - Dunno how much they are - I get them from work...
yeah but the three ring binders damage cards get the ultra pro binders that are bound
I'd love to get the Ultro Pro bound binders, but the only ones I see at my local shops are pretty small. I don't want to lug around multiple binders if I can help it. Does anyone know if they come in XL?
I don't have that many cards, so I'm able to store most of them in one shoebox. Since I'm more of a gamer than a collector, I have them separated by card type, then sorted by cost and then alphabetically. I separate the characters by affiliation (for dual affiliated characters, I follow the first team mentioned, or the team on the left for DJL cards).
Also, I separate the team stamped cards of the teams that I always like to use (e.g. Spider-Friends) so that I can easily get cards from them when I need it...
