Re: the Hellboy delays, I figure (like Erick) that there probably was a component of the starters that got delayed somehow (the counters is a good guess - or possibly they had some trouble getting the signed Mignola prints to randomly insert in time?). Something like that could definitely hold up the whole show. :(

I was toying around with a mono Shadowpact build with Mobilize using BPRD Signal Device to set your endurance to 25. (You can pay 1 endurance as much as you like with Signal Device, and the rest of the abilities have relevance too.) Usually you could just have June equipped with a Signal Device on turn 3 sitting at ~32 endurance, and they cant really make attacks because they know you arent bluffing a way to get to 25. However, even with Mobilize and Chimp, (and a mulligan condition of Xandu or Conjuration), the deck wasnt consistent enough. Still fun though.

BPRD/X-Statix had potential if there was a easy way to teamup (or just the 7-drop Hellboy in the Current XStatixVU build). BPRD/Checkmate seemed to have plenty of potential. The Hellboy 4-drop gives you a way to bounce Ahmed, and Checkmate can play all concealed pretty well. They didnt really give out enough info about the bad guy team to base a theoretical deck around though.

I am dissapointed about the delay, but understanding and glad they made the announcement as early as they could.

I'm going to have to agree here, Eternal is hell annoying. There are very few individuals I ignore and he is most defiently up there. Stop bashing and acting like a 5 year old. Although I do agree that Pro's have a tiny bit of influence not on the game state/ruling/bans...etc; but actually in actual tournament play as there are many judges I've seen (actually only in 10k's) that practically barn individual pro's. This is not a case in PC that I have ever witnessed. But the purks of being a pro most defiently a issue I myself have seen. I obviously wouldn't tell any names to prevent drama over a issue I may or may not be over reacting to.
