then later subs for Hellcat or just drops her and give Tania Belinskya +2/+2 so she can be a 6/6
Subbing in Hellcat? Losses for cheating count, right? ^_^;

Team attack & KO? Pump past? I mean, that's hot and all (I prefer the Beast/Hellcat/Gargoyle 0/14 a bit more, because he can get ridiculously huge with one The Order), but it's far from unbeatable.

Oh snap, GA? Man, that not playing Reign of Terror must be an act of kindness. lol Or Harper taking out everyone in the draw phase. *shrug*

I apologize in advance for this, because you're just the outlet for my general rant...
Everyone who's talking about banning seriously needs to shut the hell up for a minute, take a deep breath, and take a nice, long, hard look at the game at large. When a toddler learns the negational power of the word 'no', there is usually a phase where it's spewed all the time... the VS Realms community seems to have hit that level of development with the term 'ban'. Quicksilver is admittedly a bit of a borderline case, but Parrington? Valkyrie is not all that and a bag of potato chips by any means. On turn 4, short of weird tricks with Mouse Trap, Conjuration, or Sleeper Agents, she's readying a 3-drop to attack again if said character isn't stunned in the attack. That's sacrificing a 4-drop to do so. On 5? We've already had some ridiculous stunts available on turn 5 (or earlier) that can be countered without having to be too far off of the standard build concepts. She helps to make one character really, really tough, but there are a lot of answers, especially in Golden Age, to one specific character.
Deadly Conspiracy / Team Tactics has been available in GA for a Thunderbolts-based deck that wants to whip out infy damage in one massive shot. With some tricks, it can even be made fairly reliable. I don't hear ANYBODY talking about banning Deadly Conspiracy or Team Tactics. Really, TT is one of the most potentially broken effects that Samantha can empower in GA, and we've seen a fair reprint made in the Crisis set. Can we please wait a little bit and see first if this will be a problem before jumping on the 'boot Sam' bandwagon?
canamrock- Still confused on the lose for cheating part,
Team attacking lets see if I have 3 characters and so does he and one is hidden the best I can do is try and stun the two visable but its kinda hard when Acribatic Dodge and Against All Odds pop up.
Reign would be nice but when some people are abusing that new equip from Hellboy that goes Ted Core on 1 search for that then if I was playing Crisis Doom before I could Reign on 3 my Lavitra would go bye bye and four he can use the back up ablities durning my build too so bouncing some that turn does not really solve alot.
The the outlet for your rant does not exsist did the words ban this card ever get typed in my post NO, the words errta so the character cant cause breakthrough its just as logical has the errata on D. Light being only once per turn (atleast until he got banned)
Edit-NVM I typed the Hellcat thing wrong its bacwards sorry about that

I heart that post. I heart it alot. But...
The Illuminati and Wake the Devil + Longshot? Borken, borken, infi borken.

Eeh... thats a bit different. I think the problem is using her ability on a speedster such as Quicksilver or Moon Knight and going to town. It is obviously much easier to tutor for characters than PTs in this game, so getting Samantha and Quicksilver on the board is not hard. When you are able to take out cards like Deadly Conspiracy and Team Tactics and essentially replace them with more duration attack pumps like Flying Kick/Rabbit Fire etc, you not only require less combo pieces but those combo pieces are decent on their own. (A Team Tactics or Deadly Conspiracy isnt going to do too much unless if you are comboing off, where a Flying Kick can still give +3). Dont get me wrong, I dont think she needs to be banned; I just think your seriously down playing how strong she really is. Speedsters can turn a Flying Kick into a +6, and Samantha lets you turn that into a +9. Dont underrate the fact that a speedster + Samantha allows you to triple the effectiveness of any duration pump intended to only have one use throughout the turn. Its the very definition of abusing a card.
Keep in mind that the only cards banned from a power level perspective in the game right now are Frankie Ray and Dr Light; these are essentially characters UDE has admitted are too powerful and they shouldnt have printed them as they were. I dont think Samantha is on this level, simply because she is a four drop.
Since we are talking Golden Age now how about
Defenders + Garth = tap everyone on Garth and then order. Then I order again and Garth is a massive stick.
I dont think sam needs banning. I just think its odd that no restriction was put on her and she can easily splash into almost any combat oriented deck. Thats the only thing that bothers me. Its all to easy too with EoE and no betrayal around.
Can we please reopen the ban EoE thread again? I really hate that card. Its the root of all problems in this game i swear.

Did you mean Roy Harper?
chdb: Ragnarok goes off best on turn 7...forget all that "Exhaust a Thule Society character to KO a BPRD" nonsense. You want the 7-drop Hellboy to come into play bouncing your other characters and stunning their six. If you can't manage to draw all 4 Break off the Horns by that point, you should really look into your deck building skills (yeah Ego Gem!).
Hellboy (hopefully equipped with the Fate set) is huge... he attacks 3 to 4 times and Ragnarok gets it's last 3 counters. If not, he's big enough to (hopefully) bounce an attack (and if not, there's always Pancakes).
I did forget War of Attrition, though.... that's a SA worry, but for Modern, it's all about outlasting the rush. Hellboy loves stall decks!
1.) KOing BPRD characters. This one is pretty easy to get around. Don't play BPRD characters.
2.) KOing your own BPRD characters for Doomsday tokens to win the game. Your "don't play it till combat" plan kind of sucks if you want to win the game with Ragna Rok, because you wait till combat to reveal it and then... I Reality Gem it on the next turn.
Ragna Rok is pretty consistent if nobody plays resource row disruption, and we're going to have a Modern Age with Reality Gem, the Kree resource-replacers, and Darkseid facedown strategies, plus whatever World's Finest brings to the table. Never mind that the absolute earliest Ragna Rok can fire off for the win is the end of turn 6, and there are decks that can win on 5.
But, hey, I would like everybody to prove me wrong! All of you, bring Ragna Rok decks to tournaments! Please!
You realize that 7-drop Hellboy has an ability right? His ability can net a counter immediately. Then he has a team stamped recovery effect as well as a name stamped way to attack multiple times.
Who needs to KO anyone when Hellboy can single handedly meet the win condition?
EDIT:
Sam won't be banned before Quicksilver ... turn 2 or 3 win bad ... turn 5 win? That's a different story.
