maybe UDE will continue the legend concept in Civil war and 52
Making Captain America some support would be awesome. some thing like
"remove defender, captain america is now the defender this attack" or something.
Id love to play a The Question legend deck. Vic stone and renye montoya.
I think thats what 52 would be about. It took so many b characters and made them a listers.
can anybody say Black Adam?
or Booster Gold?
plus it could introduce lower drop Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman too. since they are still involved but not doing anything. (2 drop superman time now pls?)
that would be awesome. It could bring alot of new players in too.
You make a good point lebeau, looking through some Rumor Mill history, we knew about World's Finest on August 9th the year before, and Infinite Crisis on September 10th the year before. Also, by the time we learned about those sets, we had a grasp on who the teams were for the sets prior. So far, all we know about Civil War is the name and one of the teams (SHIELD).

Well, we're not as late as I thought then. It seemed to me that we almost always knew The first DC set of the next year right around the time the second Marvel set of the current year was released.
Hopefully, they will announce something soon. If DC Legends comes out with no announcement of the DC set to follow, I'll be worried.
BTW, My vote for 1st DC set of 2008 would be the Brave and the Bold concept (GL/Flash).
You know, I haven't been reading Countdown, so forgive me if this is an obvious question ...
... but is it really important enough to merit it's own set?
I mean people didn't even, in general, like Civil War - but it was undeniably relevant and modern so we were actually clamoring for a set based around it. I don't know if the same can be said for Countdown.
That being said, SO many people on this site have tossed around the idea of a "Brave and The Bold" set for so long, that it honestly wouldn't surprise me - although it would make an odd companion to Civil War.
