Round 5 of the PC, I am playing Bob Caton. Playing a Subsitute build many of the FTN players are playing, but his had Unraveal Reality. I am playing our team's version of Underworld/Defenders Netherworld deck. I live through turn 6 and turn 7 is his iniative. I had all face-down resources because I used reality gem on my own resources to avoid the burn. After his build on turn 7 he has 2x 6 drops and I am about to lose on time. I recruit Shuma Gorath and try to Netherworld in another 6 drop and recover it, but he has a bat got your tongue. So I backup 2 drop Beast on Umar and evade him, then recover him with Shuma Gorath. I back-up again on Umar making her a 10 defense. I evade Beast again then use Undead Legions to recover and ready him. Back Up again making Umar a 12 defense. I Undead Legions and evade 2 more times making Umar finaly a 16 defense. I use Cannibal Tech to get Teleport ring and make her an 18 defense. He team attacks his characters into her and I play 3x Defenders Defend to brickwall the attack and swing back for game.
27 defense Umar!
One more...
I was playing Doom Crisis. On turn 5 my AGL opponent swings with a character and 5x atk pumps to my single visible 5 drop to finish me off. I flip No Man Escapes the Manhunters on my own San and bring it to the visible area, then flip Crisis on Infinite Earth's to reinforce. Then I won the next turn.
Another good move I saw on the Bring Your Own Set 10k...
Turn 7 Gamma Doom vs. Check Villians. The gamma doom players recuits a 2 drop Beast and Rogue 4 drop to the Check Villians players Sasha. He uses 4 drop Rogue to copy Ahmed's ability. Then he activates and searches for Latveria to make plot twists cost 1 less. The he flips gamma bomb with the help of Beast and Latveria and gets a Ahmed KO victory.

I knew that you were going to bring that up, you cruel, cruel person. I'll have you know that Polo still cries at night from that move.
Hmmm... craziest play? Well, I already talked about this a bit in this week's article, but I stil have to go with the substitute killing spree that I pulled off on Abacu Miranda at the PC. He combo'd out with the Venom Burn, and was all set to hit me for upwards of 60 damage. I had two 5-drops in hand, but I went with the aggressive play of pitching my 5-drops to flip both of the copies of Unravel Reality that I had in my row. I had all four copies of Dark Firestorm, two copies of Oracle, two Lady Blackhawk, and two Titans of Tomorrow. With all of the resulting search/draw, I was able to recruit a 2- and 3-drop, and STILL have enough cards to substitute in TEN characters. With both copies of Unravel Reality targeting The Order (without replacing), I burned Abacu for 60 endurance before combat even began.
Heh heh... I never get tired of telling that story! ;)
There was one game I played where I distracted the other player with my dazzling wit and charm and caused him to accidentally discard his 7 drop Bats when he only ran one and didn't play any graveyard recursion.
I was playing kree/checkmate. Pressing out kree on 6 but a omac 5 as the five drop, with 5 other guys already out, making 10 in total. They were playing underworld, and had a 6 two 5s and a 4. I was at 2 and they were in the 50s, damn life gain. They had the inish so I was in trouble. They attacked their 6 into my 2 and I played coverfire for 20 def, in addition I double live kreed for the stun. The next 5 drop swung on one of my 2s again and I coverfired and live kree or die and a hala for the stun. Then there five into the two drop again and yet another coverfire. They then tried yet again to attack the two drop, this time with their 4 and I had both my 4th coverfire and also live kree for the stun. So it is then my turn and I calculate that I will not be able to kill him this if I attack because their 5 will stun one of my twos involved in the team attack, so I exaust 3 front row guys to stun his 5 drop, then exaust 4 more guys to ko his board, then swing with my 3 big guys to his face. Turn 7 I drop Sasha and he scoops.
Well, in all fairness the only reason that my stories of punting games don't make it here are because I usually make the worst mistakes against guys who aren't realmsers.
Ok, so this wasn't me, but I did see someone do this.
It was some random constructed tournament and somebody was play and X-Statics / darksied deck.
On turn 7 the statics player only has a 7 drop darksied in play who is teamed up with the loners. His opponent swings in with his whole team to guarantee the stun.
The statics player plays 'no match for darksied' stuns all other guy's entire board, then play 'spin doctoring' to recover and ready darksied, followed by an 'omega beams' to rfg all his opponent's characters.
My opponent and I both had Redshift and Galactus, we are both team attacking then when galactus comes into play gaining all our endurance... he won because he managed to get worldeater apparatus and I ran out of life gain plot twists. but it went to like turn 14.
It's my Checkmate/x vs my opponent's Checkmate/VU on turn six, my init. We both have Nyssa, Talia and Ahmed. His Ahmed is exhausted and concealed, searched for the brother I that he used to search out Nyssa. He discarded Harvey Bullock for Talia's Ability. I have a Sarge Steel in play from the last turn, and my Ahmed is still ready. I activate Satellite and swing Talia into his Ahmed for the stun. I swing Sarge into Harvey and get the stun. I swing Nyssa into Talia and he activates a Safehouse. I exhaust three locations to KO his Ahmed (two locations left ready because my Satellite is exhausted). He exhausts three locations to recover Ahmed in response. Then I exhaust my Ahmed to search out a location which I exhaust with my two other ready locations to KO his Ahmed for the win.
I also once won the Galactus mirror on turn nine, after my opponent drained my life (back). I team-attacked his Galactus with Red Shift and my Galactus. They all go away. Combat is uneventful afterwards. At recovery, the characters come back and my Galactus trigger is put on the chain first because I have init. His trigger is on top, so he drains my life again shortly before I finally drain his life when my trigger resolves. All in all, four Galactus triggers resolved in one turn.
