Shift isn't Cosmic; the rest of the text isn't attached to the keyword in the same manner

so any word on if a character shifted into play will trigger uniqueness? it's not recruiting.. so I'm leaning towards no. it also kind of goes with the theme of multi-dimensional if you can have multiple versions of a character in play, like Kang... but with better costumes.

So did someone use the shift mechanic on vssystem.com to avoid updating it?

Shift seems like a long-overdue keyword.

When expressed in rules lingo, I guess I see how it could be misconstrued. But, really, it's pretty easy to understand the intent when you explain it in plain English.

so really this power should be worded more along the lines of recruiting for it's shift cost as opposed to just putting it into play as an payment power?

if a character is shifted into play - does he count as "rectruited this turn" or just "entered play this turn" ?

It was not recruited, so it doesn't count as having been recruited.

I like the concept but until I play them I'm not really sure how well the mechanic fits into the game. Seems like playing One drops and two drops might be out of the question for the Exiles so that you can shift a few characters in the early turns.

Blink might be very good friends with Cable and Bodyslide so that she can accelerate the shift counters on the other fellas. Bishop from MUN might help her out a bit too.

One question thought, is the removed from the game zone going to be divided as to avoid confusion?

This is incredible, A team that i actually love (until Claremont) getting a keyword just for them, that represents, and portrays them rather accurately, that also seems like a lot of fun to play. I love you guys.
