Yep I screwed up on this one sorry. But still 4 press characters and 3 of them playable is not bad they drop from 80% to 75%, not bad at all.

People really do seem to forget that the developers aren't completely stupid, and that they do occasionally playtest things before releasing them.
Restricted? You mean 4 possible 2 drops, 4 possible 3 drops, 2 possible 4 drops, 2 possible 5 drops and 1 possible 6 drop is restricting? Of which one of those 2 drops one lets me "search" for a character? Leave it to spud to ask for 6 drops per turn with Press.

We haven't seen any card like Stargate or Minerva for the Exiles yet ... instead we've seen ways to take characters out of the game after they were already in play. So it may end up that most of the shifting isn't before the character comes into play, but after. The team is yet to see any cards that address the "multiple recruits per turn means losing cards from hand". Heck, they're are a couple of characters on the team that you need to pitch for their abilities like Blink and Mimic [5 and 4 respectively].
Kree alone wasn't as good as Kree with Villains United. They helped maintain card advantage and board presence. I'm sure someone will come along and build a deck that can do something similar with the Exiles. Panoptichron seems like a nice way to start things off, and with not even half of the cards for the team being previewed I'm sure we will see a few other tricks at their disposal, like for example the Tallus (see Facebook pic). We also have Weapon X with Shift and though it was hinted that they don't work in the same way I'm sure there are some cards to be gained from them, if not only to team them up. So yeah maybe we are jumping the gun on this but isn't that what the previews are all about? Getting exited over the game after almost 5 months with no new cards to play with? Hoping to break the cards that haven't even been released? You guys are killing everyones high here. Let us enjoy the previews and get exited like a kid the night before Christmas, and after the set is released we can be torn back into reality. Last set it was "Pathetic Attempt wreaks this", and now this year is "people need to calm down".
Sorry, bub. I just can't stand to argue with you anymore-- you don't listen to anything anybody says, you just reformulate the same blatantly incorrect opinions into a new arrangement and re-present them. And no, I'm not just talking about this one thread... this has been your consistent pattern since you first popped up in the DCvMarvel thread.
There's just no point in arguing with you. It's a waste of breath.
Well this seems good, but As long as we don't see a card that can get around the Pay 1 resourse point to get that card into play shifted, she is not broken.
If there is a card thats like Discard 1 put a card into play shifted whe might have a problem, but then they would need some draw.

So, yeah. I just won't be reading your posts.
Just like you post over and over again for us to wait for the whole set to come out?
The thing is I can acknowledge (from time to time) when I make a mistake. You on the other hand are always right about everything and close avery argument that you lose or are about to lose with statements like the ones you just posted. Opinions are a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact. My opinion is that the cards as of now indicate that Shift is a very strong keyword and that a method of abusing it will pop up sooner or later. I can't be wrong for having my opinion even if the facts point in the other direction.
Yes I post and repost things over and over again worded differently in hopes that people like you that are totally hardheaded can understand the point I am trying to bring across. You say there is no point in arguing with me but really when have you ever lost an argument? I have never seen you back up, or admit that you were mistaken, so I would say it's even more pointless to argue with you. If you want to keep this going take to a PM I don't mind, but lets leave this thread to the preview.
All this talk of Exiles being limited in character base seems moot since doesn't Weapon X have shift too according to our initial list?
PD
Good catch; in the Exiles comic, there was a group of other reality jumpers that named themselves Weapon X, as they were composed of different characters from different realities that had all been involved in their reality's Weapon X program.

*hangs head in abject failure*
I read that comic for all but this last year...
I of course was focused on the preview list putting shift under WeaponX but forgot about this whole thing...
There were some cool people on Weapon X! Combined with in-continuity Weapon X! Hooray!
Wasn't Hyperion on Weapon X? the crazy god-like one? Or was he on Exiles? I can't remember.
Ekin you have brought me to a happy place. Hopefully the cards will endure the emotion :-)

He already stated he isn't going to read that, so ... this is just for us, isn't it?
As part of the intended audience, I guess I'll reply.

Correct, they can also be emotionally based, vacuous opinions. Just because opinions CAN be held without facts doesn't mean they SHOULD.
The fact that you can hold an opinion, physically and ethically, does not guard that opinion from ridicule - that's typically what those "facts" are for.

If your opinion is on a subjective matter (such as anything involving the word "should"), than no, you can't be absolutely "wrong".
If your opinion is on an objective matter, than yes actually, you can be wrong. If your opinion is that the earth is flat, your dead wrong, and your opinion is open to ridicule from departing drastically from the facts.
"All opinions are equal" is BS. It's a cultural meme that developed to reduce conflict (not in itself a bad thing, admittedly). The more accurate version of it is that "opinions on truly subjective issues can not be shown to be absolutely valid or invalid".
So just "walking in" now, it depends on whether you're talking about an objective or subjective subject-matter.
It wasn't actually for everyone else, it was directed at him in hopes that we could of continued it outside of this thread. I believe that talking is a fine way to resolve peoples differences and move on. I don't expect him to become my best friend or anything but that doesn't mean we can't exchange our points of view in a more or less civilized way.
Being objective means that you can't involve either personal feelings or opinions (got that out of the dictionary). There is no way to introduce the concept of being objective when an opinion is all that it's being presented because being objective is only another way of representing the facts, and opinions care nothing about facts.
But yeah like it says under your name "Opinions May Vary."
