2. Today was the first time battling in PVP SHIELD and went from 4,000+ to 36th and currently at 27th place for the season. Just need 226 points to overtake 25th place but a little over 800 points to overtake 24th.

3. Back when I first started the game it felt like that every time we got a new 5* that there was a boss event. Was that always the case?

She is a popular one. I would see her being linked to actual Wolverine, but I don't see a connection to Daken. (But my comics lore knowledge is lacking.)
Usually there seems to be some theme to these store, like all scientists or such if not directly comic related.

It happened a bunch, but I don't think it was every time. It would usually award tokens to the 5* intro store.

I'm not sure when you joined. The current model where you can get a cover from the heroics is relatively new...with Iceman or Professor X, iirc.

There was a period of time where the cycle was 4/4/5, which would give us a new 5* every 6 weeks or so.

There was a period of time where we got an alliance event about once a month.

So for there to be overlap ... yeah, I can see it. This was before 5* Charles, so it was before we had the format of "Spend some gold and sacrifice a virgin to hope for a 5* from a store." So all those events, as Harpua mentioned, got you an LT for the 5* special store.

It sounds like they are *trying* to make this nice, but I'm not sure that those sorts do a darn thing for me.

Most of all, I would love to see a way to flag your most used toons to have them listed first.

This update to roster layout really misses the mark for my experience. Yeesh.

I am picturing it having two columns. Like the left is the owned with the right being the unowned, so we have to now scroll through a single column of 220ish characters while the unowned is just blank.

I say that jokingly, but now I fear that it may be that.

I am not enthusiastic about their description and feel that they have missed the mark. I am surprised that they're not trying to make the screen like your online TV stuff.

No buttons on top of anything.
Make most used or favorites just a filter. (And I mean a new favorites, not the shard favorite. Like, a different one where you flag your go-to toons.)

I have 27 LLs (not including CP) I am debating about opening until I get a 5*. My wish is to get a cover for Apocalypse (2/2/2) before he leaves , or maybe a pink Onslaught (0/1/1). I don't want a Killmonger (1/0/0) he doesn't interest me too much, though he is a tougher opponent going against Americarnak. I do not have any Wolverine at the moment and since I had all those LLs I thought it would be good to wait until he enters LLs in a few weeks.

Any insight from all you wonderful people?

Apoc is long-term going to be upper-mid-tier. I don't think the same will be said about Daken, so I would say try to get more Apoc now while you can.

While you might not be interested in KM overall, every 5* you can give extra levels to is going to help when they're required and he's going to be in the tokens a while longer and therefore used in events, so I wouldn't scoff at any extras of him that come your way.

You make a good point, but I want at least 1 cover for all 5*s so I can use them in the required nodes. I need 10 more 5*s to have every toon rostered. Using that logic, I don't need any other cover except Daken. However, Apoc is really good and rarely lets me down.

Someone on Reddit mentioned that MPQ anniversary is in 6 weeks or so. That usually means a new anniversary vault, which usually means decent 5*s. That is another reason why I am a bit hesitant to spend LLs, to prevent spending CP.

Not putting down your idea, just explaining my thinking a bit more.

I'd say the best advice is to hold if you can then. Since a bad streak could really disappoint in this situation where you're only looking for extras, I'd say wait for the flip of the next LL set and get your Daken hopefully as quickly as possible.

Not knowing your CP stockpile, I have no idea what your long-term options will be, but holding is almost always the right move and the advice that I rarely follow myself.
