Doom rs to E22 on Thing making his damage 5. Skrulls is 1. Gets 8. KOs him. Doom gets to make his av + 1 permanently.
Diablo sides to A16 to block. He rolls for alchemical fire. 4. -2 to opposing avs on hit characters. We'll see. Needs 7+ 1 to hit Reed with ee rolls 8. SS is 1. 2 to him. He hits MM too but does no damage. However both Reed and MM would have a -2 for av next turn.
So Thing is koed and blocked, 2 to Reed. Both Reed and MM's av is -2 for a turn. reed's outwit is outwitted.

My Torch isn't the Skrull Torch, for what it's worth. Thing was, and Sue, but that was it.
While we did say we'd start with the FF all represented, we didn't say anything about keeping them represented. Though I suspect I may come back to Ben before we're done here, it won't be this turn.

That Diablo is pretty great. Especially for 35 points. I'm getting spoiled for this points.
Rama-Tut is one of the characters who most excited me in this set. Doom makes his av 11. It's sad it doesn't start that way. He targets MM, that smoke cloud as annoying. Needs 8 + 1,ugh, rolls 10. Oh nice. 3 penetrating to him.
Planet Doom (no indom, really?) rs to B16 on MM. Needs 8 + 1, gets 9. And I haven't need to use my pc yet. KOs MM. Gains outwit.

Rama Tut's been a want of mine for the longest time. I could have wished for a little bit more exciting dial for him, but for 50 points he's certainly solid.

The Puppet Master quickly remolded his clay figure into the form of Prisoner Doom. "Now to lure him to his doom," he chuckled as he used the mind controlling property of the clay to draw Prisoner Doom forward.
"A warning, Masters. Do not ever think to try that against me," Dr. Doom said, hitting Prisoner Doom with a massive energy blast.
"Oh of course not," Puppet Master said innocently. "Never."
This Doom will be so much better when pushing isn't so much a thing. As it is now he's just waiting to be koed.

I don't think the slow start reflects the set, there's real gems here. I think they'll play well in our big games or themed ones.
I'm still not sure why someone like HE gets Cosmic Energy instead of Power Cosmic, seems a complication they don't need, like Team Player instead of Spider-ta to a lesser extent.
HE outwits Reed's ss and targets him. Misses with a 2 which Rama makes 5.
I hate to do this but this is all to avoid PM, who ever thought he'd be so big a deal? Doom to B19. Sides HE to B19, he's A20.

Even by Infinity Challenge standards Puppet Master was kind of bad right off the bat. It took them 20 years to remake him. Now he's very likely Top Ten material.

Puts him in range of your outermost guys at least. That's Rama Tut and Prisoner Doom. Mr. Safe Bet in me says to try to to MC Rama Tut. He's got Phasing so I can surely bring him over to my area. Prisoner Doom needs to Breakaway if I control him. But I guess between moving and Sidestep I get two tries at it at least. Okay, so Puppet Master tries to MC Prisoner Doom. AV12 on DV17. Gets 4. Need to use Uatu already. Makes it 9.

It seems we didn't determine that when the FF are koed, we'd replace them. Is the same true for Doom? If we don't I'm not sure we need a 9th figure...
There's a lot of Dooms, though, but I sort of feel if we consider a Doom a must play, shouldn't we do the same for the FF?
