I’m not a Gummy Bear, though Cindy does this interesting thing involving bouncing things in opposite directions. Absolutely defies physics. I strongly suggest some of you swing by here before departure as for some it’ll be their last time and even the survivors have a long voyage ahead of us.

The shop keep at the general store gathers all of the items together for you. He tries not to make eye contact with you, or Captain Kraken, and he hopes you actually pay him and not rob him. He's an older man with a family at home, and he doesn't need any trouble.
To his surprise, you pay him the 4.1*. He's so thankful that he gives you a .1* discount, leaving you with 4* in your pockets. Hopefully you can find another shop within the next day or two before your supplies run out.

After some time, Cobalt returns from the upstairs with a relaxed walk and a pocket with 0.2* less in it (regular discount). Cindy didn't have much to say, she doesn't typically like to chat, but she did let slip that more ships than usual have headed West towards a strange island with a single house upon it. Or so the rumour went.
When you reach the downstairs you slump into your favourite seat once more. The man raving about the sea women has left, supposedly been thrown out for causing a commotion. You start to doze off.

Toby closes his eyes and nods slowly. He nods for some time, and you almost think he's fallen asleep, but then he opens his eyes once more. It's then you realize he's absolutely smashed on rum and gin.
"No one know'in what it is, jus' this big 'ol motherfuc'ker in the forest. Huntin' men. Eatin' up. Don' know whatitis, some sayin' a wolf. Others say it be somethin' else. Up on whatisit whatisit, that island with the red forest. I dunno." Toby then closes his eyes again and this time you're pretty sure he is actually asleep.
We'll take the supplies back to the ship, then meet up with the crew at the H&G
You all arrive at the Horse and Groom. As soon as you enter through the double wide doors, a skinny pirate is tossed into a wall, where he's left slumped over and unconscious. The tavern is loud and raucous, with people arm wrestling, others chugging their glasses and others threatening eachother over how slow they're chugging their glasses.
You all order a drink and make your way to a shadowy, sticky table in the back.
A man near your table mutters to himself about seeing some kind of wild bear in the woods that ate the rest of his crew. You ignore him and turn to eachother, drinking.
Wasn't there something you should be doing you ask yourselves.
Should we roll out once everyone gets here or am I forgetting something?
I wasn’t sure if I had been assigned sleep or could come join you all. Got that clarified with Stranger.
*When he meets back up with the group, clucking his tongue that they really should have given themselves some good memories before the voyage, Cobalt takes a moment to hand each of them envelopes. The parchment feels unlike anything familiar and the question lays in the back of at least one mind as to whether it came from a plant. The darkness of the envelopes has no reflective sheen and is almost uncomfortable to look at, as if it’s blacker than the deepest ocean trench and, oddly, does not make the eyes start creating their own “light spots” in reaction...it wants you to know only the dark. As for the seal...it’s not wax and the shapes in the molten purple and blue intertwine...
“While I plan to be as active as any of you - perhaps more so, from what I’ve seen - I can’t keep an eye on all at once. Should any of you ever need help, break open the envelope and read the sheet inside and as part of my deal, you will have aid of certainty for the moment of crisis. Such is -our- promise to you.”
With that taken care of he finds a shady spot and awaits for the group to decide what they do next. He decided to not mention the information he’s learned as he’s not yet certain what to make of it. But... “Oh. Yes. Sightings of tritons or sirens or some sort of sea-folk are apparently quite high right now. Be prepared. How exciting though? I always think it’s more interesting if there’s a merman in an adventure.” *
