I really don't have a dog in this fight, but I feel like DD takes the win more than KK. He's going to hit first most of the time, and for more damage. The Greatest of Apes will have to worry about healing more than hitting. And DD's Genocidal Hatred trait helps keep his AV consistent throughout.
I'm honestly kind of surprised I haven't used him yet, considering how much I like the big dumb brute.

NO sarcasm intended....I meant it about the tennis comment....
It feels like it will be one LONG match though!!!
I put my money on Doomsday early on (even though my heart will ALWAYS be with Kong!!) so I'm really interested in your results.
Rep to you btw....
Haha. Thanks.
I think that I am going to start a new game, and ditch the one on pause. If Kong can win the paused game, then it's going to take forever and a day, what with his relatively low attack value, and Doomsday's upcoming Impervious/Steal Energy. Kong's failed double-Regen attempt thoroughly happened at the wrong time, IMO.
I don't know that the fight will end, on average, within a 50-minute period. If each round is a minute long, then you've "only" burned through 50 rounds. The game that I paused is at round 40, and definitely not ending within 10 rounds.
Apart from vampire pieces, I think that Steal Energy is a power that we often take for granted—but it's what keeps Doomsday smashing you. No Restraints? No problem, he gets to attack you twice per turn, and when he's not rolling Impervious, STOP keeps him from being KO'd. Stack that on top of 3-6 Willpower, and it's just pain.
Offensively, mano a mano, Doomsday is better. Defensively, Kong is better, in general—he is harder to harm—but again, Doomsday's Steal Energy gives himself serious staying power. Offensively, Kong is better against a crowd. In a tournament, I think that you'll have success with Kong more often.
Who wins, on average, one-on-one? In a tournament, I think that it's a stalemate. Personally, as you might imagine, I'm not interested in running any more simulations.
Seeing more posts a tie seems that much more likely.
Guess it depends on the players but Kongs player can decide to get a draw at "worst" if he plays the regeneration every time he gets hurt and leaves the restraints on. The Kong player decides how it goes. Well the Kong player & the dice. LOL.

Doomsday making Impervious, followed by him successfuly using Steal Energy, is a PITA. And even more so when he makes Willpower on a 3-6.
He is just a cockroach, inasmuch as he can climb back up from the back end of his dial, very quickly, with just a little bit of luck.
What a cool piece! And finally one worthy of the character!
A draw it is then. Neither of these pieces should be in a 1 on 1 fight I suppose.
Id like to see it played out IRT.
At the near midpoint map and strategy would determine a huge outcome when Doomsday hits IMPERV. If Kong is on/around elevated terrain when that happens his QUAKE can come in clutch to not just damage Doomsy but also knock him back farther where he cant charge back in since Giant Reach 3 plus knockback 3 is farther than Dooms charge of 4
I would love to do this battle. I already have Doomsday. But my Kong is still sitting in Olive Branch, MS awaiting shipping and there has been no change since the USPS tracking on March 5th at 1:06 PM.
It's very annoying seeing other get there's and mine is still sitting on a shelve in Mississippi.

Maybe print the dial, and use Titano as a stand-in?

Good point. I suppose you could use any Doomsday if you didn't have that specific one as well.
Oh, the possibilities of home gaming. LOL.
I've used older Manhunters as a stand in for newer ones I didn't have enough of. Same for Brood at one point. As long as they're not all injured at the same time, just rotate as needed.
I prefer having the actual pieces but I'll fudge it if I must.
