Very impressive. I was doubting how good she would be for 86 points but her first click is killer. Sculpt is very neat as well. Color me impressed with this one. The only thing that's at all bothersome is the 6 range, but, I understand giving a short range so she can be cost effective as well. She's probably this set's Adam Warlock...
"Come on Hulk! Where's the old boasting? The battle cries? Why aren't you bellowing about how you're 'the strongest one there is'? Could it be because... you know it's not true?"
"No. Because it's just too obvious."

just curious, i dont follow DC clix as well as i should...but are there any figures that should have been big, powerful figures but were toned down for whatever reason in DC? here we have Phoenix, and before we had Adam Warlock, and possibly Surfer.
I'm not complaining, i just wanted to see if this happens in DC. Phoenix tho, at this cost, is an incredible piece that should see alot of playtime.
Ominous 8: Dr. Doom, Mysterio, M.O.D.O.K., Swarm, the Wizard, the Klaw, dire wraiths, Riptide.
Why? First off, Firelord has a longer range (8), better defense (+2), probably longer dial (by 1 or 2 clicks), for about the same price. I'd rather have Firelord..

i think she looks awesome, but am curious about the 1st click Super Senses - think that ES/D would be a better fit. LOVE the sculpt. can't wait to see what they do with Dark Phoenix now...

This is the Phoenix from Xcaliber. For 90% of her career she wasnt super powerful and would fall into the less then 100 point bracket!

Giving her a 16 DV w/Deflection would be a huge step toward making her Firelord II.
It's either kinda funny or really sad that people complained about how cheesy and overpowered Firelord was, and now they're suggesting that this Phoenix is underpowered b/c she doesn't have FL's range, Deflection, etc.
Captain America: C'mere, let me get a closer look at that big gash on your cheek.
Bruce Banner: But I haven't got a gash on my cheek.
Seriously Rachael looks like a very cool figure that will give the X-Men something they didn't have before, PW, and PB too! 6 Range is not all that hard to work with, especially with the ability to shirk the damage completely. Plus I think the smaller ranges work much better with PW than longer one, much easier to work with.

Firelord is isnt anything under the new rules? Thats like saying under before the rule of 3. Sentinal could use the hooker. Could, did, doesnt happen any more.

REV Superman (well, the v is expensive, and capable dial, but waaay too many points for that dial)
Darkseid
Deathstroke
I am very curious to see what Phoenix 2's entire dial looks like for 86 points
