is the Skrull Mar-Vell considered hero or villian?

I'm considering him a hero, since he actively fought against the Skrull invasion.

Besides, too expensive for me anyway. Likewise, Skrull Ms Marvel. I've only got the base 450 points to spend, not the 500+ you guys have.

You guys better put on a list of those Skrulls I can't draft. I was considering every Skrull as a villain, but if this is not true I'd like to know...

And since we all know Alice Cooper IS, in fact, a Skrull in disguise (just look at his "Mascara & Monsters" album cover...), here's a little thing he wrote for us some time ago:

Dark Avengers, Dark X-Men, you guys get to choose your alignment. Dark X-Men, while working for Norman, MOST of the team actually think they're doing good, and I'm convinced Emma hasn't betrayed her race, and is manipulating Norman. Avengers is also Neutral, despite being evil jerks, they're doing it for the good of America. They're Neutral.

This is apparently going to be a 'true' Marvel year, and the grudge matches are going to be interesting.

Yeah, M13 could draft a single skrull if they wanted. I'd allow it. That's quirky fun rule breaking, hence fourth known as a 'Kazzi', not a 'Emerald Empress makes an AWESOME Phoenix sub!' rule breaking.

Also Peers, we all know that Daken will inherent the 'can be everywhere at once' gene. He's already in 3 books right now, and he only appeared a year or so ago.

Dark Captain Mar-Vell is NOT a villain. He is about to run rampant on those Dark Avenger butts.

Wow... I don't see how they're a hero team, myself, but it doesn't matter if they're neutral-recruiting-villains or villains-with-a-couple-expensive-neutrals.

Let's face it. Your team includes Bullseye (killing reporters and whatnot), Venom (eating groupies), and Osborne (who's doing this whole thing simply because he likes power). They're bad guys. They're not doing this 'for America', they're doing this because they know going along with Osborne lets them get away with murder... literally.

They're the Authority.

EDIT: And it's my opinion that intent counts a lot for this aspect of the League . You have the choice. Avengers are Evil, X-Men are good from what I see.

I have to agree with Peers on this.

The entire point about Dark Avengers is heroic identities being taken over by the bad guys.

Dark X-Men seems to be all about Norman Osborn getting a mutant team under his control. Part of their wikipedia article reads: "Another team member worthy of note is Mimic, who sees joining this team as chance to do some good. Writer James Asmus explained: "To actually be invited onto a team—and one working for the government, no less—gives him a vote of confidence that was sorely needed in his life. Unfortunately for Cal, he doesn't realize he didn't sign up with the good guys." Heck, the writer doesn't even believe the Dark X-Men are the good guys.

I think Dark Avengers are Evil with Sentry and Ares definitely heroes and Noh Var a neutral.

It isn't so much that they are heroes, or not. They PLAY, heroes. They're the Authority, with criminal records. Peers chose villain, so it's moot.

look in the Age of Apocalypse alternate Universe The Big A and his squad are in power and doing Justice but that does not make them any more evil.

What exactly are the Dark Avengers doing that's illegal? They're being ####'s to super heroes. I'm not saying they're awesome, I'm saying they're the Authority, they're George W. Bush, not the Masters of Evil.
