I'll also add that there should be a Cave Carson in every set. Not literally Cave Carson, but a similarly obscure character. I still haven't read a single comic with him in it, but he's one of the pieces I'm most happy to see in the Brave & the Bold.
I'm in Providence! I've been out of the hobby, but I'm looking for Saturday gaming. Send me a PM if you know the down-low!

Miners FTW!
SO wanting multiples so I can set up the Quentin Turnbull Old West Mining Co.

I tried, but I couldn't get past the first 20 pages or so. I'm not a fan of Wolfman's writing.
Ditto on the not getting past the whole 20 pages thing. Well, that and it may as well have been subtitled "Damn it, Goodman, Would a LITTLE Continuity Have Killed You?"

John Stewart's costume dates back to the early 80s, and he's hardly a big player in the recent crossover events. It's *really* not fair to lump himin with White Lanterns as some sort of flavor-of-the-month. He's also been long, long overdue for a remake as a well-liked character (thanks mainly to JLU) that has only ever had a horrible dial in clix.
Also, the jury is *really* out on the make-up of the set. Yes, 10 white lanterns is a lot, but that does not mean we aren't going to get representatives from all eras. The Silver and Bronze ages are pretty under-represented in previews, but they have gotten a lot of love in teh last few sets, so that doesn't really upset me much... yet.
I agree that John is OVERDUE for a remake (see: also Kilowog). I also agree the jury is out for the entire set make-up. However, the announcement of 10 White Lanterns has me concerned when combined with the rumblings of the skittle lanterns (Larfleeze, Attrocitus, etc) in the set.
I can easily name 60 "never been mades" and if this set is anything like Brave and the Bold - where we only got a fraction of new, never been made, named figures - I'll be waiting a good 4 sets before I see them all. 4 sets.
That's about 3 years in clix releases. If the past is any indication of the future then in that time, we'll have 3 more years of editorial driven flash in the pan story concepts pushing characters into sets.
Of course, if this is the set where we get a Vibe, (and a Ragdoll, and a Max Lord and a Moth-Man) all is forgiven

And don't get me wrong - I really like Brave and the Bold - having plainclothes Clark, Bruce & Diana, Parademons & Amazons & Checkmate & Ninja armies, as well as some uniquely executed and fun to play duos. But looking at the breakdown, we got very few "never been mades"
I only include the generics/repaints once, and Jason Blood probably deserved his own sculpt outside of the Legacy REV, but for the most part there's very few "new" characters with this set.
01. Bruce Wayne (AE)
02. Clark Kent (AE)
03. Diana Prince (AE) 04. League Assassin 05. Amazon Warrior
06. Checkmate Pawn (white)
07. Checkmate Knight (white)
08. Parademon Grunt
09. Hawkman and Atom 10. Jason Blood (AE)
11. League Elite
12. Amazon of Bana-Mighdall
13. Checkmate Pawn (Black)
14. Chackmate Knight (Black)
15. Parademon Drill Sergeant

25. Young Granny Godness and Mercy (duo)
26. The Sensei (League of Assassins)
27. Phillipus

29. Mademoiselle Marie
30. The Parademon 31. Brainiac - IMO a different character from the Icons Robot. 32. Kryptonite Man

Hey, Boneyard, did you intend to have Starman listed twice? I'm all for more Starmen, since they're all so varied.
While in general I would also prefer new characters to remakes, I'm okay with remakes of any characters from Justice League, Avengers and before that were just poor representations.
mouse, you forget a few. the sensei. Phillipus. Mademoiselle Marie.

Yup - you're right, some of those characters have a history, but with the repaints it's not worth mentioning IMO. I've been using hand ninja for "League Assassin" subs for a long time now, so it's not a real revelation for me to have them made. Not that I'm complaining either. Still, bump the count for original characters by +3, and you still have a lot of unmades left.

That might be nice and all, but the character has already been made multiple times (Three, in fact, with four different dials) and "Different costume" hardly trumps "Never made at all." A different costume has to be one of the least compelling reasons, ever, for remaking a figure.
Ray Palmer deserves the same kind of respect in clix that Hank Pym gets. I'm not all that stoked about the flavor of the month Atom we recently got, and DC showed how much they were behind the newest Atom when they let him become a notch on Deathstroke's belt.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.
Heck, he had a great appearence in DC Universe Legacies last month, alongside the Challengers of the Unknown and the Sea Devils.
That mini is great, BTW. Well worth the money.
Since it's written by Len Wein, someone who has forgotten more about writing then current writers in the business will ever know, I'm not surprised.
