If you use your Attribute to increase my chances of winning the crane game Kirby indicated to, I'll give you one of my Inventory Stake Vouchers.
Whatta you say?
Luck? In a Claw game? That game is all skill baby. I can't tell you how many I've robbed. The only thing luck has to do with it is if the claw upon the game you are playing has been configured to actually grab the prize, or just fall closed.
Still, if you guys want to go that route, that's fine. It is a fantasy game, after all.
Alright, in that case I guess I'll just try to pull off the crane game on my own.
Is there anything specific I should know about this particular crane game before I state my action to try to improve my chances of winning?
It's full of stuffed animals. First one to miss an animal loses.
(All stuffed animals will be donated to charity after gambling has concluded.)
In case you hadn't noticed, normal rounds don't apply right now. Trying to keep thins moving, so when everyone declares their gambling stuff, the other actions will also resolve. Or something.
I'll accept his challenge, and my strategy will be to attempt to turn the motions of the claw into an improvised dance routine (well, as much of one as a claw can perform) in order to try to help it catch on to the animals when it lowers down to grab them. Also, my primary focus will be on animals that look like they would be most susceptible to being picked up via the claw. (Brains; Attribute: Lord of the Dance Champions).
Stranger approaches the elf at the juke box, and asks him to teach him a skill. Were it nearly any other person, I'm sure the elf would have assumed Stranger was coming onto him, but as it is, the elf pulls out an ocarina, and begins playing along with the music. Stranger watches closely, and picks up a few things. Now, if only he had an ocarina...
Wade approaches the camouflaged man, and asks to be trained. The man gives Wade one look, and then back hands him in the face, knocking him to the floor.
"Lesson one, don't get hit in the face. Lesson two, don't bother me again."
Wade picks himself off the ground, and considers throwing himself at the man. Noticing that across the room, he bartender is casually loading a shotgun, he reconsiders.
Smudge "moseys" over to the kid in the cap, and looks at the game he is playing. After a brief observation, Smudge suggests to the kid "jack of clubs on queen." The kid looks at him in confusion.
"These are Pokemon cards..."
Smudge shrugs and walks away.
Jawa says to the marshmallow that he is ready to challenge him. The marshmallow quickly inhales his food (literally, of course), and proceeds over to the crane game. After several inconclusive rounds of rock, paper, scissors to see who would go first (inconclusive because the marshmallow throwing rock, and paper, look exactly the same), they eventually decide to flip a coin, which the marshmallow wins. Jawa steps up the the machine and takes command of the joystick. Hearing the ocarina music in the back round, Jawa makes the claw dance along, moving it back and forth with the beat. It's only with 5 seconds remaining on the timer that Jawa realizes he's been wasting a ridiculous amount of time, and hastily picks a target. The claw falls, and luckily, turns perfectly to grab a stuffed giraffe by the neck. The claw raises shakily, and though its a close thing, it safely deposit's Jawa's prize in the slot.
Next, the marshmallow (after finding a stepladder) takes the joystick, and moves the claw all the way to the back. Seems he is so used to playing the game, he goes for the best animals, rather than the easiest ones. a large hippo is seated against the back wall. The marshmallow, uses the claw to push it forward, moving it into a better position, before pushing the button and letting the claw falls. It drops and grabs onto the hippo's head, lifting it up and carrying it halfway to the receptacle before it slipped out of the claw's grasp. Perhaps if the marshmallow had one more play, the hippo could be his, but as it was, he had lost the challenge.
The marshmallow produces a large, poofy, fine pointed star, and hand's it to Jawa, then turns back tot he claw game. Seems he really wants that hippo.
Stranger gets XP, and Jawa has won his challenge. He'll have to use the star to find out what it does though.
Do we have to leave now, or can we use other actions here?
That depends. Jawa can't gamble anymore, but if he wanted to hand out one of his remaining 2 vouchers, or if Sky wanted to use his Jarate in place of a voucher, someone else could gamble. If not, you might as well move on.

You're going to have a hard time stealing the ocarina unnoticed when he is actively playing it. And the bartender is still holding that loaded shotgun.

Maybe you can make an ocarina yourself. Later.
Yeah, and then Wade will just whip it at some octopus alien thing.
