Okay, no answers for a few days, so I'll give up the thread. The Badoon are pretty interesting. The males have one homeworld, while the females have another. Moord is the Brotherhood's planet, and pretty much the only one to show up in storylines involving war with the Badoon.

The males are cranky. It's because they all suffer from Tyrannoids and lack female companionship.
The females, however, all look like Kathy Ireland and they have all sorts of electrical equipment to keep them happy. So, they don't really need males.

I don't have my copy of The Complete Far Side with me (I own one, too), but a quick web search seems to indicate that it was published on March 21, 1990. I can't tell whether that was the cartoon's original date of publication, or whether that was a reprint from when Gary was on a vacation, though.

I'll have to look for it later. I know I've seen it, but just can not remember for some reason. I guess it's because I've seen them all.
My faves tend to be the ones related to King Kong and the ones with the Cats.
