You rolled a 3 when you started the duel which confirms there should be 1 square between them. Manhattan never moved from his intial spot, so they should still be not adjacent. Am I missing something?

Nope. I did the math in my head and thought they were adjacent. They actually should be adjacent (3-2=1 and adjacent is 1 square apart) but I say keep with the map.

I'm pretty sure we've been doing that all along. The number rolled (-2) is the number of squares in between, so roll a 3 and there is 1 square in between. Rolls of 1-2 only are adjacency.

Not faring so well in the duels, Harvey notwithstanding. As we've done before once a character is pitted, the duel is over. Before I go, you'll need to place Red Hood and Xavier in the starting area. If you need to change parts of your turn, g'head. Probably Manhattan's worst performance ever. He hurt Xavier pretty well but that's all.

It was Superman that beat up the guy in the wheelchair (very nice, by the way). It was Red Hood and Sinestro that Manhattan was fighting, and they're in C5 and C6.

I could be wrong but I don't think Emma's been drafted yet. I'll take White Queen from MU. Mental shields, of course. Needs 8 to mc Koom, gets 9. Sweet. Koom uses After Ultimate Power and moves next to Loki to dual attack him. They slip to I12,13 attacking Loki. They outwit his invulnerable and attack. Needs 6, rolls 7. 4 to Loki, 1 to Koom who no longer can use duo attack. Now you'll have to choose Kang or Doom.

Confused on the promo thing. If you get a successful attack you get 1 promo token. Then roll a six died die and add that to the promo tokens. That puts her at 7. What am I missing?

Salaak strikes out at Kang.

"Do not be foolish. I am a time master, my victory is inevitable," Kang says holding Salaak at bay.

"Probably," sighs the pessimistic Salaak, "But as a Green Lantern I'm taught to look for hope." He pierces through Kang's barrier as he tries attacking him.

"That was a lucky shot."

"No," Salaak says, "It would've been lucky if you were no longer speaking to me."

It puts her at 7 for that roll, but all she gets to carry over are the tokens. If she hits again, she'll get a second token, so next time she tries, she gets a +2 to her die roll. Then +3, etc. until she gets the 8. So your chances do get better each time you hit, but only incrementally by 1.

I forgot to use Deathstroke's Precisely Timed Strike power when I moved White Queen adjacent to him. Pity. That works perfect with the cutthroat.

This time I roll a 5 for Amalgam. Incidentally, it's almost the end of another month, so you'll want to start thinking about reordering the events again. Anyway, I guess Mystics and X-Men are the only real way to go.
