Well I had to come to work, so no sleep for awhile yet. I'm more miffed at the professor to my online Biology class than anything. (I'm taking online classes to add Science to my Social Science teaching endorsements) It's a 5 week course, and the first week he gives 2 very moderate sized papers that have to be written. I finally finish, it's 3am, and I look at next week's assignments. 2 worksheets that took me a total of 25 minutes to do. (And this was at 3 in the morning!) Space some things out dude!

On a different note, I have 2 inquiries:

1) Is anyone going to Nationals? If so, would that person(s) be able to pick me up some of the exclusives (strictly for personal use, not for reselling!)?

I want the 2 big colossals (Brainiac Ship and Supreme Intelligence) and 3 of the Dr. Stranges. (For friends and 1 for a prize at my local venue)


2) I have a fairly large event coming up a week and a half from now. The first section is 400 no tactics (also no team bases or duos, and a 10% limit on pogs). Here is the lineup I came up with, I'd like some thoughts. (I don't want to post to the team building forum as some of the opponents lurk there)

This team shuts down: Hypersonic (K.Zoom), free action or stat bump abuse (White Witch), Super Senses and damage reducers (Banshee), ignoring terrain for movement (Thanosi). And it has 1 regular PC (Thanosi) and one pseudo-PC (Weasel) to go with a decent mix of ranged figures.


If I make Top 16 with this team, it would be 400 Modern, and I just have no idea what to play. I keep wanting to play Agent 13 in order to not be reliant on playing the Green Lantern Battery as well as being able to help out against stop click pieces like Kyle Rayner. But her keywords very much limit her. Spy keyword would be ok, but not great.

I'm building a RL team involving the Z-Virus mechanic, so I have this noobie question. I bet it was answered before (or makes no sense whatsoever), but let me put this up here, before I get embarassed in the rules forum.

I'm using a zombie with the zombie infection trait:

ZOMBIE INFECTION: When (...) damages an opposing character, give that character a Virus token if it has less than 5 Virus tokens. When an opposing character is KO'd by this character, you may add it to your force, turn to its first KO click, remove all of its Virus tokens and heal it that many clicks.

Ok, I KO an opposing character, so I score its points. Then I add it to my force. If my oponnent KO's it too, will he also score its points?

Yes. You have added something with a point value to your force. That's why the Infection power says "may", because you may not want to give your opponent the opportunity to get their points back by KOing a very weak version of their own figure.

From what I've seen, most Zombie abuse comes from the food tokens rather than the Virus tokens. (Coming back to life when KO'd) Well, that and Super Skrull can basically do everything for almost no cost. [He'd be balanced if you couldn't bump his stats through entities, resources, perplex, everything else lol]
